  • Material spatter values set way too high. Single kitten dropped 10z levels results in a 50 tile radius being coverd in kitten gore.
Oh, I sincerely hope so.

Yes please.

Feverish dwarves get moreso with every fever-causing contagion. Stacking fever can result in dwarves passing ignition points of plant fibers and wood.

-New raw bungles lead to giant rat leather heart roasts and rhesus macaque liver bone bolts.

-Confusion over the fact that creatures are now made of actual materials leads to dyeing jobs producing blue dwarves and chartreuse cats.

-Moods occasionally require whale shells, cedar bones, lizardman fur, or deer venom.

-Moods occasionally frequently produce whale heart idols, macaque spleen axes, bear bone trousers, and goblin intestine tables decorated with marmot liver, dog teeth, and goblin brain, menacing with spikes of elf brain and cow tongue, and bearing an image of a dwarf surrounded by dwarves in carp blood.

-New goblin worship tendencies leads to rare instances of cats and tame marmots as civ leaders.

-Forgotten Beasts sometimes spawn with no methods of attack, locomotion, and/or sensing their surroundings. This leads in particular to immobile water mist breath attackers in the dining hall, though wrestling practice dolls and immobile goblin threshers have a place as well.

Wait, was this for bugs or hopes?

Not sure if this was a random guess or if you read the devlog entry for 02/13/2010, but this one nearly happened for real. A pity it was caught - spontaneous combustion is quite Dwarfy.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Custom workshop exploits:

-Cloning Vats, send a dwarf in to create a himself.
-New shop makes weapons out of babies.
-Engrave a crossbow bolt with bodyparts, which will then leave a miasma trail when fired (based on a previous idea that I liked)
-Create a stack of 20000 bolts, never leave your post for more ammo again!
-Create a megabeast in a laboratory, send it to crush your enemies!
-Make beds out of anything, including liquids.
-Make weapons out of beards.
-A workshop that turns stones into cats, or animals into metals.
-Use your metalsmithing skills to turn nothing into nothing! (free experience)

And now I will be doing this.

FOR SCIENCE, of course.

I like this.  Creating golems/frankenstein's monster style abominations should be in at some time, with magic.

This is a masterfully crafted magma bed.  On the bed is an image of nobles in bauxite.  The nobles are burning.

I did read the devlog, and was inspired. But I'm sure flooding your fortress with 4/7 water would take care of it eventually. Or let you track all your dwarves by their "contrails".

Nope; the fevers just never went away. They didn't keep getting higher or anything like that.
