Bloodsword gives the wombatens 1 month to make 1000 weapons.

Dakoth, tiring of his antics with his kobold playthings, seeks a new source of entertainment. While doing so he comes across a peculiar race known as wombatens. Even better an ACT has been used, given him a chance to strike.

Dakoth ensures all wombaten weapons made in the next month are brittle and will crumble when striking anything harder than silk

Upon hearing the pleas for help Karn responds by placing the image of the flying dungeon in the sky in the minds of the adventurers asking for help

Karn tells the adventurers asking for help to find and reach the end of the dungeon to become powerful beyond their imagination

Urist sees Dragnar create something that may be able to stop the dragons near invulnerability.
Urist is extreamly displeased but pleased at the same time... Knowing that all other races are not proper match for the HFS except the dragons, which are much to powerfull for the HFS at current stage, urist hatches a plot... A way to even out the battlefield between his two most powerfull creations...

Urist tells the HFS everything about the new artifact which shall help them dominate the dragons and anything else magical that may stand in their way...

I had fun writing this turn...

Dragnar creates a magic-draining artifact in the center of the dragon graveyard.
Dragnar tells his followers what the artifact can do, and where to find it.
Bloodsword gives the wombatens 1 month to make 1000 weapons.
RAM possesses a kobold, and attempts to have it create a mechanism.
Karn tells the adventurers asking for help to find and reach the end of the dungeon to become powerful beyond their imagination
Urist tells the HFS everything about the new artifact which shall help them dominate the dragons and anything else magical that may stand in their way...

The dragon corpses in the barren complete their decomposition, leaving their bones behind.
The magic draining artifact, having no weilder, begins draining the magic from everything in its range.
The barren upon which the artifact of draining was placed, being filled over with magic, begins to crack up and 'float' due to magic being removed from it forcibly.
Wombaten smiths trying to make new weapons see they break no matter what smith forged, go about collecting their own weapons, making a stock of just 999.
With great sorrow the wombaten the await Bloodsword's judgement, and pray for even a pittiance of mercy, while the sands of the hourglass pour down.
The Kobold Ludubekreengus 'Ludubekreengus' created the rock right guantlet, 'Woemitten the corpse of joy', on the item are images of mechanism.
The adventurers gather below the great dungon of Karn and, in between infighting, search for the enterance.
A group of HFS journey to the artifact of draining, reaching it discover that it drains their powers as well, to the point of turning then, while in the nearest sphere of the artifact, back into elves, and find at a distance of about five inches a barrier of influx magical energy is present making retreiving the item improbable.
The HFS name the artifact of draining, 'The Point of Dreams', and the relating area 'The Scar of Night'
The Elves having finished traded with the Humans set off back towards 'The Moldy Grove'.

Urist sees the failure of the HFS...
But yet another plan falls into the head of Urist....
A sort of  polar opposite of the artifact created by Dragnar....

This Magic generator enchants the area on the land it is in with magic, making trees flourish, animals more mystical, things more powerfull.
This magic generator is also made out of an invulnerable material that is unable to be dammaged or taken apart, however, this item can be moved...
Creatures that were created by urist will be enchanted more easily than creatures from other dietys.

Though there is a tint of corruption in this artifact, it taints any who uses it (That isnt a diety, or sentient force) with an essence of the void, the more one uses it the more one is tainted with the void, eventually consuming the individual and morphing the being into a mindless mass of great power...

Urist places this artifact near the HFS so that their scouts can discover it......

Urist creates the magic generator artifact and places it near the HFS (Read act for more info...)

RAM attempts to move the Fragment of Madness to the kobolds. With less of a crater this time...

Whoops, missed that, sorry.

Bloodsword gathers up the weapons and decided to create one of his own to bring it up to the 1000 he asked for. He gives the weapons to the K'rral as a gift to do with as they please.

He then decides that since the wombatens almost got the right amount, they should almost be able to use the power he promised.

He gives all of them the power to move the tunnels but at the cost of the life of their current leader (excluding gods, if one ever took over. The second in command would be killed instead. Assuming the second in command wasn't another god.)

Bloodsword gives 1000 weapons, including one he hand-crafts, to the K'rral as a reward.
Bloodsword gives the wombatens the power to move their tunnel entrances but doing so kills their leader each time it is used.

So, can non-magical creatures approach my artifact? Or did it absorb too much power and become dangerous?

Anything can aproach it...touching it through the magical influx is the problem.

Almost exactly what I wanted. Though I suppose I really should go about having the entrance be found. What are the chances that the wombatens find it on their own? Hopefully decent.

Karn the Mad realizes that in order for mortals to be able to defeat the powerful dragons is for them to have weapons that can actually hurt the monstrosities. So Karn creates Karnicite, a powerful metal a hundred times stronger then adamantine but also twice as heavy as steel. He creates an infinite cache that replenishes itself when some is removed and places it within his floating dungeon.

Karn the Mad creates an infinite source of Karnicite and places it at the end of his floating dungeon

Fine, time to fix that.

Dragnar kinds the greatest wizard in the land and grants him the ability to recover the artifact. Once he dies, another will be selected, and so on.(what kind of fantasy world is complete without a "chosen one" of some kind anyway?)

Dragnar grants the greatest wizard in the land the power to wield the artifact.
