Cool. I had been playing for a while when I started a new game with some B12 guys and then found this post. Pretty neat.

I really like how laid back and LONG TERM the game is. It is something I can enjoy over the course of several weeks (on long games). If I want more action, I can just sign up for more games.

Bah! It sucks how you can't change course once you're travelling and you're forced to fight with the opposing team when you arrive.

I just accidentally lost an entire fleet because of this.

Sorry about that, I wish there are rules of engagement that yo could set up: peace, war and options to tell certain fleets to only attack if attacked first.

if you cancel your waypoint and redirect, it will still keep going?

You have up til the wrap prep to cancel and redirect your fleet movements, and the wrap prep I think is a half an hour.

Oh well. Just the way things work I guess. We were kinda racing for the point together so I can imagine how my fleet of stupid hairdressers got PO-ed when you got there first.
