Earworms are EATING mah brainz!
« on: January 24, 2010, 07:57:47 am »

Ok so I've been listening to some songs which are completely stuck in my head at the moment. They all take samples of tv shows or movies and remixed into something else.

The Picard Dance Song

Slap Chop Rap

Da Shatner Funk

Skynet Symphonic

Upular

So I'm asking people if they know any more out there. I need something to knock the Picard Song and Upular from my brain!

First ten minutes of play I ate my loincloth and then got some limbs torn off by a super friendly rat. Thumbs up from me.

Ievan Polkka is a fun song it's part finnish part scat set to a traditional finno-russian tune.  I don't listen to ear worms because everything I've ever heard plays in my head constantly so there isn't really room for more.

To follow the theme you've set up:

Shatner of the Mount (soundbites taken from this fairly bizzare behind the scenes interview about Star Trek V: The Final Frontier).

Powerless man

I'll do anything for you

(all three made by the same people)

This is actually an excellent pop song and video, but it's been stuck in my head for since yesterday night. It makes me wish I was drunk and dancing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrO4YZeyl0I

Damn, you beat me to it.

Those are freaking hilarious. Very distracting thoughts when working.

Not so much a song, but definitely in my head

Flashbulb Kirlian Voyage (ignore the video, for it is shit)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ybpwrgFx7I

This entire soundtrack

Dancing with the Domz from the terribly underrated and ignored "Beyond Good and evil" OST
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gG1tt95IOO0

Both the song and video are awesome for this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PBeKzVhWHY

The metroid prime OST for the option screen of all things. It's bizarrely epic for where they put it
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mw93KtJH8jo

there are more, just too obscure or I forget them.
