You wait. Eventually your Captain gets word the enemy army is close and the Guard have started their hit-and-run attacks.
You hear a sound that sounds a bit like something burning, but you don't have time to wonder.
The Captain shouts something, but at the same moment the burning sound becomes much, much more louder and feel heat
assaulting you from behind. You turn to look, and see the lone Trooper who was standing there get annihillated by an explosion of green fire. Several others follow suit, engulfing the trees outside inside them.
' Get inside, get in the cavern!' the Captain shouts, and you obey.
You see enemies closing in all along the forest, and so does the Captain.
' Hold positions, don't let them touch the Executioner!'

Abilities have a cooldown time of two turns, so you can't use them every single turn. You can get improved versions of them as well,
when you level up again.
And yes, the Executioner is online, but it's long-range artillery, and you're not going to get to use it unless someone calls in an artillery strike elsewhere.
