A new wave of aliens appears from the woods.
However, before you can even start shooting,
something darts past above you, and is followed by a series of explosions on the ground.
The air force has arrived.
Taking a good look, you see a triangle-shaped plane begin turning towards the forests in the horizon.
Soon enough, another set of explosions throws trees high in the air, along with bodies of aliens.
Two more planes soon join the fray, unloading their deadly cargo into the midst of the alien swarm.
The troops around you cheer. Time to mop up the remains.
Alien Crawler Killed! 15 XP!
So yes, this was just a plot-update. They are necessary as well. You did get one Crawler before the planes arrived, so LVL-UP!
