concentrate on your rootsystem. if it is large and deep enough, nothing can ever kill you completely.

Engage him theologically.  Explain that there is a time for all things in the span of the universe.  Metalhead is bound by no law but the law of Metalhead and will take whatever form Metalhead does desire.  The time has come to pass that Metalhead shall take the form of a shrubbery for it is a season where Metalhead wishes all to begin anew.

Finesse is fine too.

Yeah, I did. Before we can shoot thorns though, we must first grow thorns.
