Lazy Friday night text adventure! Mostly a vessel for creative writing, but I have a flaw of never being able to write anything good without some sort of input- this was inspired by an offhand comment in another forum game, and the Whiskey Wizard was inspired by a misinterpretation of some Ensiferum lyrics. But I digress, let's get this going!

You always wanted to be an adventurer. You've dreamed of slaying monsters, claiming fair maidens (you're a male deer fern), and traveling to see the world. But God created a lot more bushes than He did adventurers. So in retrospect is was a pretty likely lot in life, although you think maybe being an insect would have been more interesting. But you think you're a bush that can think. HA! The only bush that can prove its own existence! Perhaps, in time, you will grow- into an entire swamp or forest even! Yes, you think you'd like to do that. Maybe you just need some XP... how did adventurers get it again? Oh look, here comes an adventurer now! What do you do?

Let's just see what you make of this.

YES.... You will KILL the adventurer! You've decided now, you're going to be an EVIL bush! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Perhaps you shall have to gain the ability to speak later. It occurs to you that you don't have spores (only pollen), nor spikes, nor can you move. But you try really hard, and you do manage to rustle a little. "AHA! There you are, foul kobold!" exclaims the adventurer. He runs over to thrust his sword into you, and hits nothing, because you are a lot more flexible than most kobolds. He falls over on his sword and dies. 300 XP Gained! You are now level 3, having leveled up twice! You may gain two abilities. Your size increases to 2. You have gained the item: Impaled Adventurer! You see a kobold coming over to inspect the adventurer. What do you do?
