If he is as legendary as Cacame then it is fine.  If it is an elf that died horribly at the hands of dwarves then it is fine.  Otherwise toss that artifact down a chasm.

Zasit is a dwarven name. Your elf was born a member of the dwarven civ, and I will not tolerate dwarves complaining about members of their own civilization.
