Screenshot time! The game is rather frantic and getting nice screenies is quite hard as it were. Still, I present to you :

The Knight's Levelling up Raid - Me, Larazon, Erazul, Vince, HBeing, Sarack

Further along the Raid

The post-mortem posing

It was quite stupid, I was the second one to die (Vince went first, I believe) because, for some moronic reason, I decided I was playing warrior, not knight, and was filled with righteous anger. So I stopped paying attention to my health and thus, predictably, died. I did find out I could make a pally, though, so I was still happy. Then, as it turned out, a few others wandered off from the group with similarly predictable results.

This is a point I found on the beach, a spawn-point it seems, which was rather, uh... besieged. There was a player in the middle of it, a rogue. I dunno if he was endgame or just slightly bugged, because they didn't seem to be doing any damage.

What a strange and beautiful world I beheld, but dangerous too, I was certain. And I was friendless and homeless. And so I prayed.

Oryx has spawned on medusa. Only two people on, and I just died.

The battles were drawn to the spawn points too often... I've seen many bosses and gods in the woods not far from the beach. New characters will die fast.

Well I just played a little with Myroc, thanks for the attack ring but I lost it. :(

A few minutes after you left I died because I wasn't paying attention. I then created a priest spawned and got swarmed changed server and got swarmed changed server aain and only had to fight 2 enemies, killed them then lagged from full health no enemies on the screen to dead.

OK I survived long enough to reach level 3, I've got some mithril armour should anyone want it.

Spoiler: ☼World Map☼ (click to show/hide)

Green dots are easy monsters, Orange dots are harder monsters, and red dots are the hardest monsters. White dots are player spawn points.

They do move a bit, but the red and orange monsters pretty much stay within those clusters.

There only appears to be four classes of enemies:
 1. Trash. Those square things, snakes, the annoying quick fire things, have at 'em.
 2. Somewhat trash. Most humanoids and a few other monsters that don't die in one hit most of the time, but still are no threat.
 3. Competent. Still not too much of a threat, but take quite a few more hits to kill and do some fancier patterns. Think of the dragons here, or humanoids with special bullets.
 4. Gods. Big guys. Alone you can take most of them on. In groups the battle becomes one-sided. Which side depends on who has more.

And hell if anything falls out of these.

This is what MMOs should be. Jump in, have fun without stupid grinding (i love the fact there are no requirements on anything other then class) and actually find people you want to play with as a group. Also, perma-death where dying isn't so absolutely horrible.

If they added in a "builder" class or trader or something, and additional alternate unlockable classes... This has the potential to be the best MMO. Ever.

Build #72 is up!

So far we have:
1. Monsters make a *thud* sound when they die.
2. No more monster death lag.
3. ???
4. PROFIT!!!

What else has anyone noticed?

This game is kinda fun, but still has some annoying aspects:
- Spawning on a beach surrounded by monsters (gods included), lost several 5+ characters to that
- Surround spawn: systematically clearing an area and getting surrounded by the respawning monsters
- No function to find a specific player on the map

Due to this points I never got any character higher than 10.

It's not that hard to find other people with use of your minimap and the zoom controls.
If you want to meet someone specifically, ask them which dot they are on the minimap, then just head to those coordinates.

Alternatively, if you both refresh the browser, chances are you'll both login at the same spawn point. If you didn't your next attempt probably will work.
