Playing full screen in high resolution.

Excuse me if this has been posted before or is being posted in the wrong forum, but I've run in to an issue.

Recently I purchased a 24" 1920x1080 monitor and DF doesn't seem to like the size too much.  If I attempt to play full screen it pushes the UI to the top-left and the empty 75% is black.  There was a tag in .init that claimed to fix this issue, but it hasn't in the slightest.

Any ideas?

What version of the game are you playing?  It can make a fairly significant difference in troubleshooting it...

also, one of the first suggestions is going to be checking to make sure you have updated graphics drivers.

The menu systems don't adapt to take advantage of more space. Fortress mode should, though.

Are you using 40d or 40d16? Auto-adjusting screen size was added in the 40d# series.

I'm using 40d16, and my graphics drivers are up to date.  So this is an issue on my end?

edit:  I reinstalled my drivers and all is well now.  Thanks for the help.
