Hahaha.  No, that wasn't supposed to be a particularly enticing hint >_>  I'm just a literary analysis nut, on top of being a ridiculous math nerd (though unfortunately I screwed up the terminology and said "twice-framed" when I meant "framed narrative.  In French, it would be considered a twice-framed story, though that's only because they have a different idea of "frame.").

A framed narrative is one in which an observer is recounting someone else telling the story.
