Sausage and anchovie? With extra olives, I hope.

I've been wanting to be able to use rocksalt in cooking/tanning, dyes, cloth, and soap, ever since my very first Fortress, which was loaded with the stuff. I remember being thrilled to have this great access to such a valuable, useful mineral, and then disappointed to find that there was no real use for it, in the game.

Different varieties and grades of rocksalt (such as Himalayan salt, black salt, dead sea salt, etc.) might exist, and salt might also be used for things like salt lamps, salt sculptures, and salt licks.

Having seasalt, being able to manufacture it, too would be +++
