I really would rather have each turn give a random amount of production per building. I have nothing I can do this turn.

Build as many Miami Light Class Cruisers in 4 years.
Status on the Guardsman Anti Infantry Walker?
Listen to what the people want.

Build more advanced all terrain infantry armor. (Including space.) (Based off the armor in my avatar)

Well, look at it this way. Not everyone in the future plays a game from 200 years ago, thus they don't have that kind of inspiration. Even then, they would refuse it as it would be too cumbersome and really have the same effect as the spandex+helmet suit. Thusly, their using the one in the picture. I would've gotten a male version of it too but couldn't find one.

That armor looks more like space spandex anyway, while the one my avatar is wearing ACTUALLY WORKS.

-Republic of Proxima Centauri-
Year 46PC - 220,312 colonists (+3788)

Cerberus announces operation of its new Long-range scanner array. This pair of polar stations and hand-full of satellites hedge on Proxima's low light pollution and Cerberus' thin atmosphere for wide spectrum imaging.
Before switching to a defensive mission, track the Apollo, Shakar, and Yuri systems, look for orbiting bodies.

An announcement by the Proxima Assembly made waves today--
'It has been four years of appropriate effort, since the hard lesson: We are not alone, and the enemy unknown would attack women and children rather than reveal themselves. Now, our preparations are complete.
Today I am pleased to announce two new initiatives: First, a versatile military force capabile of turning back any aggressive force far from our colony. Second, construction of a new colony ship, that our Republic be not cornered away in a single system. Long live the Republic!'

I would like to invite Inteuniso and Metal Militia to join in the roles of colonial manager and military leader.

x2yzh9, is there any mechanical effect of infrastructure (IE mining, power generation, water, food, air, population, etc)?
Also, Earth recieves news of the alien attack this year.

Confederation of Tau Ceti

Personally plan out a fleet after glaring at the administrative officials for not going fast enough. Contemplate what research projects I will be undertaking in the near future to see my vision realized.

Task force Hope should have the following ships, all non-fighter ships with heavy armor and shielding:
1x CTCSS Argon class light carrier
4x Helium class scout fighters, unarmed yet equipped with advanced sensors and sufficient fuel for semi-autonomy.
10x Chlorine class heavy fighters, armed with thermal lances, a one-shot-per-flight short ranged heavy energy weapon. Designed to heavily damage or destroy capital ships.
20x Beryllium class light fighter, armed with dual one-shot-per flight light missiles and dual lasers. Designed for anti-fighter combat.
5x Boron class wild weasel fighters, unarmed yet designed to flood enemies with white noise and be a target.
  8x PD laser turrets
  2x Long ranged energy torpedos
3x CTCSS Carbon class escort destroyer
  20x PD laser turrets
  2x Long long-ranged energy torpedos
1x CTCSS Lithium class cruiser
  4x PD laser turrets
  6x Heavy laser batteries
  12x Long-ranged energy torpedos
1x CTCSS Nitrogen class electronics support frigate
  3x PD laser turrets
Best ECM, ECCM, and sensors available
