 I voted for combat specifics, but any or all, of them are fine. I listen to the DF Talks while I play DF so its always entertaining. ;)

Dammit, do I have to vote for one? They're all very nice topics.

Combat specifics sounds like its time should be now after being shafted for so long. Personally, I'm a science buff and I like to read about science, so the science of DF is also an enticing topic.

Interbreeding sounds like an interesting topic (An immortal dwarf? Hells yeah!), but this also sounds like a soapbox opportunity for elf sympathizers. Plus, how would the cultures respond to half-breeds? This might just be projection, but this hasn't gone on very well in human history alone, but I don't see it faring any better in the dwarven and elven histories. If you have an offspring of a black and white couple, racists are going to see the kid depending on the racist's own race. Do you think a white supremacist is going to see the mixed-breed child as white?

Regardless, I like the idea of interbreeding. Maybe once the cosmetic tissue hooplah is applied, to make their child better accepted in society, the parents could cut the pointed ends off the child's ears after birth to make it appear that they are a pure-bred dwarf (In the scenario you're in an anti-half-breed fortress.).

How would this affect migrants, then? Would you be receiving a mixture of dwarves and elves and humans and everything in between? Would this also mean that you'd be starting to receive Kobold and Goblin refugees and outcasts?

If adventure mode can get a hearing, I think combat can!! I still voted for artifacts.

Okay, I'm breaking a personal rule here, but because I feel that combat has been shafted a bunch, I'm going to tell you guys:  Combat never does well in these polls, and it's following the pattern again true to form.  If somebody really wants us to talk about this, they are going to have to do a bunch of campaigning on the forums to get it to happen.  Good luck!

Ok, quick question. Would it be possible to spend a couple minutes on artifact weapon specifics? With the new material properties i'm curious as to how it will work, and the same goes for item quality.

Maybe they should do interbreeding and artifacts. They're like to get the most votes.

I went with artifacts, simply because there is a lot of room for expansion.

Interbreeding is also intriguing, if only for the possible combinations. It certainly makes the mermaid farms a bit more attractive a proposition...

I'm pretty happy about what's been said about artifacts so far in the podcasts. The idea of them being slightly magical in almost inexplicable ways is fantastic and utterly satisfying, and I am ready to hear about something else instead.

"H" Monkey has been fine lately. He admired a fine artifact lately. He has been annoyed by a troll. He was unhappy with the lack of work last season. He has been satisfied with a podcast lately.
