Hardly. Everyone's sill doing what they were doing when you left, i.e. engineer spamming. The political situation remains unchanged too.

THIRDLY: if Mlittle wants to be back in; I'd have no problem handing it to him. As I've said, it's not like I'm not terribly experienced with this game, and I've already caused a ton of delay.

You probably should let mlittle back in, for one, he is a vile barbarian lord, and two, al-Malik is the counter balance force to the Li Halan in this galaxy, but have been slipping behind lately in terms of cities.  Inexperienced players will continue to fall behind, which would make the game far less interesting (why would anyone want to side with the sole superpower and help them get even more superpowered, yet the game isn't very fun if I don't get to have any allies or partnerships).

As unkind as it seems, I'd rather have Mlittle reascend to the position he left earlier.

If you're really inclined to play EFS, though, we've got another game that's just started(turn -15ish or something) going on, where the missing player isn't the main force stopping Kebooo from rushing us all with engineers. In that one, you can learn as you go.
