I shall join my comrades in their glorious charge against this unworthy foe.

If it comes up, I will use my flail-around-uselessly attack(punch).

Don't worry, you don't fight until you're actually in combat. So you'll probably punch next turn.

All right, the majority say that I should make TTF fixed-difficulty... this means that I'm going to have to set up a fixed enemy. That could take a while...

Awesome, Nevyn responded super fast. I'll put up the turn in a moment.

F: Farm

SQUADS/UNITS
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

580 resources
-50: footsoldier
+50: farms
580 resources

RAM, Inteuniso, and Nirur Torir charge into the fray. They spot an Ooblite Scout accompanied by a guard. The Scout poses no trouble, but the guard looks dangerous... and if the scout manages to flee and raise the alarm, there could be trouble.

The Ooblite Scout maps the terrain for the Empire, looking for rebels and natural resources. His only attack is a fumbling whack with his telescope, and he will flee when threatened.

The well-equipped Ooblite Guard accompanies the Scout on scouting trips. He deals decent damage with a blade, and can use his powerful Slash attack to cut down enemies.

Punch scout.

I can't help but feel that the empire actually, you know, cares enough to arm their soldiers.

You guys are so poor though.
Also I think you're in the stone age or something until you upgrade your settlement (see first post).

Yep, can't afford to let the scout live, and we are willing to die for our cause!

There is a diffrence between caring about the soldiers who maintain the oppression, and caring about the general population. Or maybe the Os care about both, but merely as a fake appearance so that nobody questions their actions...

Yeah. I mean, it can't really be called "caring" for the soldiers - it's not like they're thinking "Oh our poor soldiers, we have to give them arms so that they don't die", they're thinking more along the lines of "We have to give them arms so that they can kill rebels more efficiently".
