What can I say? It's hard to apply pressure with no vote.

You still have to try.  There's not much else to do.  And you're usually so good at it (applying pressure).  You're starting to make me suspicious of you.  Not that that's new or anything.

<<< schedule stuff >>>

Sounds like an interesting day.  *lost* mirrors are never fun to deal with.  A little more meaty of a post tomorrow perchance?

I'm saying I'm doing what I can.

JanusTwoFace: You've got a problem with SirBayer. Why? Can't a guy call somebody scum early on in the game with no evidence because there isn't any evidence to go off of yet?

Nope.  No problem with SirBayer.  Problem with useless psuedo-scum hunting.  Calling someone scum without evidence is only useful if you're willing to push it.  He hasn't posted enough to do that in either case.  Ergo, scummy.

Do not mistake absence for lack of pressure, please.

Vector, who do YOU think is scum? Nobody's asked you yet that I saw.

Vector, who do YOU think is scum? Nobody's asked you yet that I saw.

You need to show up and answer questions more, doodabuddy.

Here is what I have:

eduren - active-lurking.  It's very near the beginning of the game, but I'd like to hear more from him.
ToonyMan - hasn't really been participating at all.  He's my guess for scum.
Solifuge - waiting for her to show up...
JanusTwoface - sounds like town
Leafsnail - not sure, need to work harder to get a read
Pandarsenic - I felt like he was trying to get me to kill/focus my attention on Leafsnail either, which could be either reaction-testing or scummy.  Not entirely sure what's going on with him.
SirBayer - you're being scummy.  Answer the questions, please.
JimGroovester - seems townish.

I'd like the bolded people to tell me what they think about things, and SirBayer... I really want you to answer my question, because you've been ignoring it pretty hard.

If Vector doesn't hit a Villain, he is one himself.

Heading to class now. Wish me luck on my midterm!

Since when wasn't I here?  I've been here since I went to sleep yesterday, then woke up about a hour ago.

I agree with Pandarsenic in Janus' odd pressuring.
Eduren isn't doing anything.

Yeah, good luck or whatever.

And that is preposterously bad logic. That's a quick way for us to lose if we executed town killing monarchs.

So do you actually go to school at all? Ever? Or are you just snowed in today?

What's odd about JTF's pressuring, specifically?

Vector, who do YOU think is scum? Nobody's asked you yet that I saw.

How exactly are they different?  You aren't present to apply pressure, therefore you aren't applying pressure.  It's not that hard.

ToonyMan - hasn't really been participating at all.  He's my guess for scum.

I hadn't actually noticed this.  From previous experience, a quiet ToonyMan is more likely to be a scummy ToonyMan.  Although apparently he's around now?

Since when wasn't I here?  I've been here since I went to sleep yesterday, then woke up about a hour ago.

Eduren isn't doing anything.

I don't see anything different about this game other than a slightly different voting mechanic.  Therefore, the same strategies apply.  Push people until they react.  If they react scummily, then the King can lynch them.  If the king doesn't, then it's possible that they're both scum.

SirBayer looks scummy.

eduren almost always lurks somewhat, this isn't terribly different.

It would be nice if Solifuge could post more.  Someone I haven't played with, thus no idea if the current behavior (or lack thereof) is normal or not.

FIRST DAY.  It's been 2 months or whatever since winter and I finally have a snow day.  I live in freakin' Connecticut.  Finally.

Janus is pushing on Pandarsenic for nonsensical reasons.

Yeah, I thought Pandarsenic was doing that Janus.  He just doesn't have a vote.

He was, against Vector.  Until this post:

What can I say? It's hard to apply pressure with no vote.

And without that pressure, it's hard to crack the scumshell. You're not acting as I'd hoped - no, that's not right to say. Rather, I'm torn between hoping to crack scum and hoping KM didn't crown scum.

As-is, you have provided no solid grounding. This is easier when I have a vote or in IRC. :I

Way more passive than Pandarsenic usually is.  (For reference, I think the you in this post is Vector, but I could be wrong about that).

Actually, pushing Pandarsenic wasn't my original goal.  Just a pleasant side effect.

Nonsensical, faulty/no reason.  I can't just explain it, look back at what he said.

Looks normal to me.
Side effect?  So you didn't plan to attack Pandarsenic until he looked like a target?

Nonsensical, faulty/no reason.  I can't just explain it, look back at what he said.

Perhaps you can't explain it because there's nothing wrong with it?

My main points (that I remember off the top of my head):
- SirBayer (and Pandarsenic) have been poking at the King (seems mildly silly for today)
- SirBayer is voting without any given reason and without being active enough to apply pressure
- Pandarsenic is less aggressive than normal (same is true of you (ToonyMan), actually)

Looks normal to me.
Side effect?  So you didn't plan to attack Pandarsenic until he looked like a target?

Basically, yes.  I was focusing on SirBayer.  Than Pandarsenic made the comment about not being able to pressure without a vote (which I disagreed with) thus this whole most recent conversation.  My goal was less to attack Pandarsenic (for now) and more to attack his means.

SirBayer is still looking the scummiest though.
