I met one talking indestructible door in Arcanum. It wanted me to solve a puzzle. Using my intelligence and wisdom (or whatever passes for those in Arcanum), I cast Disintegrate on it. It proved to be less than adequate in its "indestructability".

Turn 7
Location: Stardust Ruins

Practice with my bow by trying to shoot a arrow into the keyhole, I don't expect this to open the door or anything, I just expect it to be reasonable practice.
3. You miss the keyhole a couple times and only really succeed in wasting time. Slightly depressed, you pick your arrows back up.

Continue search for either the key to the main door, or for mass loot, both if possible.
4. You crack open a door and find 4 gold and a magic potion (restores some MP).

Generic random searching!
2. You excitedly look in a room, then quickly come to the sad realization that someone has already looted it.

lemme me do the job
Smash open that door
3. You beat the door fruitlessly.

Open a door, and see what fate gives me, spear at the ready.
6. You open a door and see a large key on top of a pile of gold and gems, so you excitedly rush up and grab it, not noticing the click as you snatch the key from the top of the gold and begin shoveling money into your wallet. You only manage to get 6 gold before someone in the hallway shouts "The ceiling!" Deciding that there's probably something dangerous going on out there, you step back into the main hall. Indeed, as you look up, you see that spikes have extended from the ceiling, and the sudden grinding noise accompanied by a rather frightening lowering of the ceiling doesn't make you feel any better.

Haika=6, SHAD0Wdump=1, Luke_Prowler=3, dermonster=3, Jetsquirrel=6

Haika and Jetsquirrel think fast, leaping over the rest of the party to get to the door faster, but they don't realize how low the ceiling is and (H=4-3, J=3-2) hit the descending spikes but are both protected by their armor. They unlock the door and gesture for everyone else to get into the next room, and the others run towards the newly opened passage. Luke_Prowler and dermonster make it through moments before the spikes from the ceiling meet the floor, but SHAD0Wdump was trailing behind them and screams as a spike pierces his leg, sticking him to the ground.

(4) The others have to act fast, but with some quick thinking they manage to extract SHAD0Wdump from the spike and subsequently the room with him only taking 4 damage. His leg looks pretty bad but he's going to be able to walk on it again (mangled leg, -1 dodge).

After all the excitement, you forgot to check the room, but the sound of heavy stone doors slamming down reminds you. You're in a large, circular room with windows lining the walls near the ceiling. It almost looks like an arena. You don't see any way to exit.

"Welcome to our base of operations," a mysterious voice says. "So what do you want? Our treasure? Our magic? The bounty on our heads?" Silently you realize you want all three, but think it best to let the voice continue, which it does. "What makes you think you're going to fare any better than the people whose belongings line our halls? Do you think there's some sort of inexplicable godly power guiding you, and that the universe is going to go easier on you because of it? We've met plenty of 'adventurers' here. Right where you're standing, to be specific. One of you is standing on the shattered skull of Arkom the Blood Warrior, legendary barbarian. He claimed to have been able to crush our entire band of thieves singlehandedly, and he was probably right."

Click! Several slots open up in the walls around you. "We're smarter than that," the voice says. "We're not going to just walk into your magical weapons and giant, disgusting muscles." Another click, and a tube extends a couple inches from each slot. Those of you with shields put them up nervously. "Welcome to the Stardust Ruins."

I'm going to use single letters to identify you guys in mass rolls from now on since none of your names start with the same letter.
D=1, H=4, J=4-1, L=6, S=3-1

A volley of darts flies from the wall, and several rogues leap down into the pit. Haika and Luke_Prowler manage to dodge the darts, and Luke_Prowler grabs a couple out of the air uses them to hit a rogue in the face, dealing 2 damage and badly poisoning him. Dermonster is wounded in the same way and poisoned just as badly, and SHAD0Wdump takes 2 damage from the darts but wasn't poisoned as badly.

Throw all of my knifes at the easiest targets, then protect SHADOWdump from any more attacks.

Not being the most complicated of character, I shall attempt to stab at thee rogue enemys before me.

attack nearest rogue two-handed

Oh and I shall activate my magical dodge bonus, assuming I need to do that manually(and it's a free action, otherwise ignore)

Chug a potion and shoot a arrow at the poisoned rogue to expedite his death.

Don't use the second potion, shadow, since I plan on using the healing powder next turn.

Turn 8
Location: Stardust Ruins

Resist poison and read the ancient white book.
3. You attempt to read the book and just get confused. You don't really know how you'd go about resisting poison with sheer willpower,

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, GET AWAY FOMR TAH BOOK! ITS MINE I TELL YOU!IOTS MINE!IF YOU TOUCH YOU DIE!! but for the roll, try to smash the holes the darts are coming out and if somebody tryes to stop me try to knock them out or cursh the lightly BUT NOT TO DEAD
1. You charge at the slots in the wall, hoping to end the barrages of darts, but a few slots open in the wall behind you (

Throw all of my knifes at the easiest targets, then protect SHADOWdump from any more attacks.
6, 4+1. Rogue 1 leaps at you but you throw a knife at him, which pierces through his face and hits Rogue 3, obviously killing the first and (5) dealing six damage to the second.

Chug a potion and shoot a arrow at the poisoned rogue to expedite his death.
4, 3. You chug a healing potion and fire an arrow at the rogue, killing him.

Not being the most complicated of character, I shall attempt to stab at thee rogue enemys before me.
attack nearest rogue two-handed
Oh and I shall activate my magical dodge bonus, assuming I need to do that manually(and it's a free action, otherwise ignore)
3, 5+1. You activate your armor's ability and leap at the remaining rogue. He nearly dodges you but you stab him in the chest, then stomp on his corpse and rip your spear from his body.

Dermonster and SHAD0Wdump take 2 and 1 poison damage, respectively.

(3) The slots in the walls open once again and you barely have time to react before another volley of darts shoot out (D=6, H=5+1, J=4-1, L=1, S=2), which tear into Luke_Prowler and SHAD0Wdump, dealing 2 damage to each.

The voice from earlier booms throughout the room once again. "So you're stronger than I thought. Well, I still have one trick up my sleeve. Not counting the new poison that's flowing through those of you unlucky enough to be hit just now. You'll feel quite sluggish soon and be rediculously easy to hit. I know this is probably going to end badly, but I'm going to face you myself. In fact, I'll just skip the theatrics."

(4+2, 2) (2+2, 2) A large blade slashes along the back of Haika's and dermonster's armor, but can't penetrate it. You turn around and see a rogue practically glowing with enchantments (+2 damage, +1 accuracy, +1 defense, +1 dodge) and somehow wielding a bastard sword in each hand without much effort. You all turn around and prepare to continue the fighting.

Pant, chug a healing potion, pray to deity, Say my last rites.
YEA VERILY, THOUGH I CHARGE THROUGH THE VALLEY OF DEATH, I SHALL FEAR NO EVIL, FOR I AM WIELDING A SWORD SHAPED MASS OF FUCK YOU
oh, and attack while saying that

Use the healing powder to heal my teammates and myself, then turn the rogue into mincemeat.

How dare you scratch this chainmail, It's all I have, literally!

Stab the boss rogue in the face h-2edly. (general attack, not really targeting anything)

I'll also give my curing potion to Shadow, as they seem to be in a dire need.

Thanks Haika.

Chug that curing potion, then proceed to drive a arrow up the rogue boss's ass.

With all these potions I'm drinking, you'd think I would have some unfortunate side-effects.

EDIT: it also appears I still have three healing potions despite having drank one already.
