No one can see a white border on a white background, FYI. However highlighting the image does indeed confirm a white border.

Except that it's white on slightly grey-white, and can easily be seen.

The display seems to depend on your browser. When I used Firefox, it showed as white-on-white, while on IE the difference is very clear.

Yeah, you are probably using the defualt forum colour scheme. Lots of(most?) people change over to darkling.
