Before we consider the idea of The Sims 3; what plans would you have regarding playing it? Any ideas you're considering? Because the last Sims 3 thread died before it could take off.

And this one in particular caught my eye as an LP-worthy challenge due to the open-endedness of it for story-telling purpose.
Challenge: Amnesia
Start with nothing (and I mean nothing; details in link), and work your way up to something; scrounging from citizens of the town, mooching off passers by, living off the land and the community lots. And who knows how this happened? Maybe you were dropped in the middle of nowhere by an evil corporation you worked for (or some rich bastard that wanted you gone for good, but death would be too good for you.), and they wiped your memory before dumping you in the middle of nowhere? That's the beauty of that challenge. It can follow Calvinball rules, and be made up as you play. Sort of reverse storytelling as you go forward with it. Like an episode of Lost.

I tried it out a bit. Started off with my person living off the town for a good week, practically living in the gym (since it had the showers and utilities to build stats), stole some food growing off the trees in the park, and sold much of them, and ate plenty of them as well. Memory returns slowly until it turns out my character was actually a secret agent, and seriously botched an operation. Some not-so-good people made sure my agent was no more, but still alive. All made to look AWOL. I haven't worked on it any further than that. Too busy with other stuff.
