Because a zombie shark tank is more menacing than a zombie S tank, this is a (hopefully) working and complete sprite sheet for large ocean creatures.

I'm not an artist, but that isn't to deflect criticism. Feel free to offer up suggestions for making it better or fixing dumb mistakes. I'll try to maintain it until I'm satisfied that it's complete, someone more talented takes the wheel, or the new version of DF drops rendering it obsolete.

And, of course, anybody is free to use or modify any original work, don't feel like you need my permission.

UPDATE 2/8/2010- Added Dig Deeper whale sprites (part of an almost complete Dig Deeper graphics pack), should still be backwards compatible with vanilla. Fixed an incorrect entry.

Looks pretty good, I use ascii right now but am collecting sprites for if I decide to switch.

Nice work,
I've done a few creatures on my own and while it can be tedious to make certain creatures I've found that the skeletons are the most annoying due to the lack of pixel space. Yours are looking good!
