Sorry, buildings are off-limits at the moment. The shipment leaves soon.

Using height to her advantage, Sylvia will dodge around behind the cop and shove the cop into the wall, holding her knife at his back and threatening to gut him if he attempts to escape.
You attempt to dodge. (6) You dodge, but drop your knife in the process. (4) He's easy to shove against the wall, though. He drops his gun into his pocket. (3) You attempt to grab it, but you fumble and shoot the wall. Still, you do have 5 bullets left.

Unskilled Overshooter 1/2

I'll go with Haika and Jetsquirrel and act as navigator.
Done and done.

Using the meter, smash the cops head into the wall. Avoid hitting the elf.
You take a wild swing at the cop. (1)(5) You cream Sylvia instead. (2)(5) Blocked. Seeing as the cop dodged, Sylvia shoots him (4)(1) hard in the head. (5) BOOM HEADSHOT. The cop slumps to the ground, a lot of grey matter around the hole in his head. Holy hell, what a second turn.

get into the driver seat of the newly aquired car, and familiarize myself with the controls without driving away as people get in.

Kirby, I think you may need to work on your roll outcomes some. Jetsquirrel had several actions in there, they should be in the car right? Also there's a bullet missing, cop shot one to begin with, then Sylvia shot one into the wall, then during Steady's turn she killed the cop by shooting him with a magic bullet. so the gun should have 4/7 bullets.

I also don't understand the 'unskilled failure' thing... just don't see the point. The 'flavor' with the races is a bit annoying after saying we could be from anywhere and then just ignoring it. I worry about some of the auto successes as well, a good RTD makes a roll each turn, even if it's just getting into a car or asking for a map. If you wanted to give him the map anyway make the npc do it after the turn as a free action.

Also 5's and 6's should give exp, while 1's should damage the roller. Not sure I get how Steady rolling a 1 gives Sylvia a kill and exp in a skill. I also don't want to worry about me doing an action like 'charm' and having that turn into 'attack'.

It just seems that this RTD is a little messy and confusing at times. Maybe read through some more RTD's others have done for inspiration? Like multiworld etc.

I'm probably just overly picky and no one else really cares, but I'm still playing and not planning to leave yet. Just getting on my nerves a bit.

The unskilled failure thing will become better as time goes on. Some small things would become oevrly infuriating with constant fails. Therefor, most simple actions are auto-succeed. If you lost a limb, you would need a roll.

It's complex. Sylvia tells the guard she'd gut him if he moved. Regardless of the 1, the cop rolled 5, which means perfect dodge.

This RTD's theme was "Messy"...

OK, startig Day 2, because I'm nice, I'll have small race modifiers.
