Leafsnail attempts to write in italics, but finds this function mysteriously removed.

Anyway, Zai, how do you explain that book I found in your room entitled "Bell Ringing for Dummies"?  Also, what part do you think the bells could be playing in this game?

My guess is that the Bells represent the number of Days. Once we reach Day 5, they will have all started ringing. At that point, we all lose.

Does anyone have a win condition, by the way? I want to see what happens if it is fulfilled. I'd try to myself but I am currently unaware of mine.

you can ask questions.  I won't steer you wrong, but I'm not required to answer them.

Okay, here's a list:

What do the bells do?
Why are there five bells?
Is there a reason to lynch?
Does somebody ring the bells?
Do we lose when all of the bells ring?
How do I win?
Can we get rid of the bells?
Who's the scum?

Yeah, what are the win conditions? Is that the puzzle? Or is it the role names?

@Web
- no answer
- no answer
- lynching, as well as the day game, is still needed here.
- no answer
- you will not be happy if the bells ring. Not happy at all.
- no answer
- Already tried.  The bells can't be destroyed.

I'm guessing that, although it's probably not a conventional scumgroup, there is probably someone we're fighting against.  The OP says we cannot win in the normal way, but if we can at least identify anyone acting suspiciously it would help somewhat.

Well, the normal way is to lynch all the scum. So, what would be a different way...?

We need to lynch.

Do we have to lynch each other?
Can we lynch the bells?

Well... my guess is that we win when there is no way for all the bells to be ringing.  How we can do this I don't know.  Here are some things I think we can assume though:

1 - There is a player or group of players who wins when the bells are all ringing.  I'll refer to this player or group as "D-Ringer" for now.
2 - The conditions for ringing a bell were achieved this morning.  It could be that one starts ringing every day, in which case we D-Ringer could be a doomspeaker/ doomspeaker group.  Or perhaps D-Ringer needs to find something out or do something special to make it happen.
3 - Lynches will play a part in our victory.  Something tells me, however, that eliminating D-Ringer in this way will not be enough.  If we find someone we think is D-Ringer aligned, though, we should probably lynch them to see what effect this has, if any.

Therefore, my current plan would be -
1 - Make sure to lynch someone today, even if we haven't got too many leads
2 - Try and find someone who knows more than they're letting on, and lynch them (with a long term goal of finding D-Ringer)

So... yeah.  Kindof vague, really.  I'll see if I can come up with some better theories later.

Special rules:
No one among you seems to understand why you are here or what you should be doing.

5 Bell can be seen attached to the ceiling.  None of them are active.  Somehow, you get the feeling that no matter what, the bells must. not. ring!

Players:
1. Pandarsenic
2. Zai
3. inteuniso
4. Vector
5. Leafsnail
6. Webadict
7. ExKirby
8. RedWarrior0
9. Mr.Person

So, what I've got here is that none of us know what our victory conditions are.  We've got 5 bells, one of which rang this morning.  We don't want the other ones to ring.  My guess is that something about the interactions of our roles will cause the bells to ring or not.

I don't think it's a Doomspeaker group, since that would be a bit lame.

Mod: does "you may not talk about your PM text" include "you may not reveal what your role does"?

Once a bell has rung, may it be silenced?

And... screw it.  Little Maria, ringer for the burial of children.

I think we should lynch Vector.

Is there some reason why you've picked me for a trial-lynch, other than my voting for an obscure reference?

@Web

-Similar to normal: you can only lynch a fellow player or No lynch.
-The bells are just objects, not players.

@Pandarsenic

- Yes, the scum know they are scum.

@Vector

-The 'no PM text talk' is the same as normal games.  You can't quote your PM text.

I think we should lynch Vector.

I think we should lynch you... bellsounder.

Because something tells me that's what the scum want to do. Ring the bells, and kill us all. Why? They have earplugs.
