The way I see it, since Bush managed to pull off 2 terms, Obama is pretty much gaurrenteed 2 terms. Which gives me enough time to get my college education and move to Canada if someone like Palin gets elected.

Not at all; Bush had 9/11 to make every one hop on his dick and the effect lasted long enough to get him re-elected. Obama had no such luck; he inherited a shitty economy and Bush's wars after their popularity had already waned enough to make them burdens instead of rallying cries.

We'll see if he gets two terms though. Even if the Republicans put out a good candidate, it'll still be a Republican, so God forbid Obama doesn't win...

I don't think Palin will be running in 2012. From what I've read, it's honestly pretty unlikely that she'll run for another public office.

I suspect Obama will win in his reelection if only because there's almost no chance in Hell that the Republicans will have a viable candidate. Seriously, who do they have these days?
