Seems like my new video card is what was screwing up DF for me 3 months ago. Cus it works on my PC now. I'll do everything from here.

I'd like to get in on this succession game. This fort could use my "creative" input, and looks like it's still somewhat in it's infancy. Just let me know what I need to do to my DF to run it as well as how to upload to that particular site yous guys been using.

Unless you're doing any modding, just move the 'scorchinghatchet' folder to your 'save' folder and it should work fine. You might want to make sure you don't have any features turned off, low pop caps, limited babies, etc. in the init. I always just download a clean copy of DF for succession games, but that's not necessary.
To use DFFD, just go there, make an account, and then hit the big Upload button at the top. The rest is pretty self-explanatory.

I was almost finished yesterday! Then my little sister got onto the computer and deleted a bunch of stuff. I do this on a mac, so I can't just drag it back out of the recycling bin. Srry. I'll just have to start over. She's 5 yrs old and learning about computers at school, it's absolutely terrifying.

I'd just like to point out that I'm on a Mac too and you, uh, can just drag it out of the trash. It's a two-step process, just like in Windows.

I mhave settings so that I don't have to empty my trashbin. Things that go in disappear forever. And I'm not changing that. U can do it on Windows too.

Also, don't you find it funny how Mac has a Trash, and windows has a Recycle Bin?
