100killer9 saw that his creatures could not move the crystal through space. So, he decided a second form of crystal would be the best thing for the job. He created a boulder of a light blue crystal, that could be manipulated like regular crystal by cats or naga, but from a longer distance than regular crystal. It was exactly the same, except for the color and one key difference: when a cat or naga put energy into the crystal, it would create a hot combustion that blasted in a direction that the cats and naga could control. It did not need anything but itself to react, and after reacting released air and water (the crystal itself was a complex molecule consisting of nitrogen, oxygen, and hydrogen).
100killer9 creates a combustible, blue crystal.

Waking from his long sleep, the great lizard looks back over the events of the Aeon with a mixture of awe at the achievements of the mortals and of disappointment at his own most loyal followers. The Naga on board The Blue had spent the long age doing nothing. They had no need of divine protection, had done no act worthy of reward. There was no place for a god here. Sadly, and without saying a word, the divine lizard faded away, taking his neglected gift of an engine with him.

Reappearing in a quiet region of the belt, Geb set about creating a new home, a temple from which he could be worshipped by those who truly lived the principles of civilisation and law. Working in steel and copper, the divine lizard began turning one asteroid into a temple, a shining beacon of pillars and polished metal among the dull rocks. As it was finished, it let forth a great flash of light, clearly signalling to all the new presence there.

Geb creates a new home among the asteroids.

That was an awful hectic aeon, good to see things are still rolling along nicely. I would organize a feast in rubberduck's honour, but I seem to have lost my powers :( So I will continue to float through the universe as a husk and spectate.

And Org crumbles his skin to create new types of plants. Where the normal vegetation covering the sphere and settled asteroids is green, organic and carnivorous, these new plants are dominently brown, with a hard shell and soft core. The rock plants are also non-carnivorous, subsisting entirely on the light of the sun. The new species pull up minerals from the underground, where they get stored within its shell. The older the rock plants grow, the harder their shell become, protecting their soft inner parts from animals and larger plants. The true property of these new plants are first discovered by a belter trader, who begins collecting mature plants and melt them down as an easy way to get the minerals.

And below the ground, Beanchubbs talks sternly to his chosen, and show them deposits of beanite. The dwarves go to work with great fervor, especially the Order of the Axe, which has survived the long sleep of the gods. The order isn't quite as pious as original, as the order had to find new members themselves, not all which were quite as pious as they appeared. The dwarven metal industry expands, pumping out weapons and armor of steel and beanite. Soon the chocking smoke of the coal furnaces fill the underground, and the dwarves find it necesary to create chimneys from the forges to the surface. Thick black smoke pours out of holes on the surface of the sphere. An army starts gathering.

And the worshippers of 100killer9 receive a gift from their god. And they take the crystal, and place it on a pedestal in the middle of the cathedral. In special ceremonies the worshippers pour energy into the crystal, causing it to spew fire, showing the glory of the one true god.

And Geb creates a temple in an asteroid in the belt and signals his return. First a few arrive at the temple, and behold the god, and return with word to the other belters. Soon pilgrims and worshippers flock to the temple, naga and elves alike, and even a few dwarves. The pilgrims are fine, merely content with the presence of their god. The worshippers however send prayers to the god to solve their problems. One is sick. One has lost her husband in war. One is losing his business. One has lost his arm in war. One wants revenge against a trader who cheated her. Problems, problems, and more problems. And all want help from the god evident before them.

On the sphere below, the civil war progresses. One contender is forced to retreat to a fortified region, while the other two hold approximately a quarter of the empire each. The rest is still held by minor contenders, sometimes supporting one or the other or themselves, but never a real threat to the three major contenders.

The Solar Navy slowly rebuilds, thankful for the respite the civil war is bringing, and unwilling to risk antagonizing the Ashlecs with an attack. The Confederation of the Red Maw has no such problems, and carve into the empire, taking back land they once lost, sacking the Ashlec cities. Many nearby independent tribes join the Confederation, expanding its size and power. However, it is still only a federation. Each tribe is its own, and once the war is over will return to its own. That is plainly understood.

What happened to Lazleth? Did the heroes with him die of old age?
They have become mythical beings, immortal and ready to return in a time of need. Whether they will return on their own, or by an ACT of a deity.. well that remains to be seen.

And 100killer9 saw that the creatures had completely failed to do the obvious thing and use the blue crystal in some sort of engine. Must be all the brainwashing. 100killer9 held the hand of his FOLLOWERS YET AGAIN, and implanted the idea of an engine into them, a hollow cylinder of pink crystal that is open at one end and filled with blue crystal. The naga and cats could simultaneously burn the blue crystal while adding more in and propel themselves through space. Sigh... At least they were making water and air for themselves.
100killer9 gives his followers the idea of an engine.

Greenleaf wakes from the long slumber with mixed emotions about the evolution of the world. Pleased that at least the Ents still retained some of his guidance of 'balance'. He decides to descend to the inner sphere and grow a temple for himself and those of his faithful.

Looking for a group of druids who have similar beliefs to his own, Greenleaf pulls the strings of the sphere itself growing a massive wooden building from a single tree. Leaves mask doors, while wooden walls seemlessly blend together, trickles of clear water provide drinks in basins for those visiting, fruits and nuts grow from the building itself to provide food, and a large branched trunk in the main meeting chamber provides a wonderful position for the God to lounge and hear the troubles of his Druids.

Greenleaf creates an audience chamber among those elves who still believe in his ways

His first act as a directly involved elven god would be to start a crusade. Balance is important, and the Ashlecs have broken that ballance. He invites chosen warriors and druids to drink from a special basin filled with his blood.

This blood infuses the imbiber with holy power to instantly grow plants or animals, flawlessly heal even the worst wounds, and return the recently dead to life.

Gives his chosen powers of holy healing, and sends them forth to stop the Ashlec empire

Geb sits in his temple, listening as the hopeful worshippers come and go, listening as each request tells part of the tale of the belt. It becomes clear that there are many difficulties in the belt, but no greater than any other race touched by the war.

After many days of hearing the worshippers, the great lizard has learned enough, and speaks to the pilgrims who still remain.  All are asked to go out into the belt to spread the word that Geb wants volunteers, crew and voidcraft to carry out divine commands. Their first task will be to collect the sick and wounded who are willing to risk the journey and take them to buy the healing magics of Greenleaf's elves. All who serve on a mission within the volunteer fleet will be rewarded with unusual good luck.

Geb grants a blessing of good luck to any who join his fleet and carry out his tasks.

Org thinks for a time, pondering his next move. After some time in thought, he removes his finger. He molds it, making a creature like himself. Down he sets it upon the planet, and he gives it life. To it he commands the demigod to guard those below the ground, and instills in him some powers of the earth.

Org creates a demigod in his image, instilling within him powers of the ground.

Beanchubbs sees his dwarves preparing for war and smiles to himself. War brought death, and he loved death.

It soon occured to him after he thought this, that his dwarves needed magic. After all, magic helped increase the amount of death in battles. He finds the most arduent worshippers of his amongst the Order of the Axe, and teaches them magic. His magic. The magic of death. He teaches them how animate the corpses of fallen enemies and friends alike. How to send deadly plagues amongst the enemis. How to manipulate the loss of life to their benefit. With his new magic taught to the dwarves, he smiles and waits for the battles to come.

Yikes, the Orcs have a nasty language.  Traditional foreplay would be right out for them; how would they ever "say my name" for one another?  No wonder Ocrs are always so bloodthirsty and violent, they're getting sub-par action.

And 100killer9 passes to his worshippers the idea to use the blue crystal as an engine. Some confusion reigns between the worshippers as they try to figure out why their god would give them an engine. And then one comes with the answer. 100killer9 must have created a new world to replace the old one. It is the solemn bound duty of the faithful to travel to this world, and claim it in their gods honor. The engine is attached to the outside of the cathedral, and the faithful head off. By sheer coincidence, their course actually takes them towards the sphere.

And Greenleaf creates a temple, and sends out a call. However, the sphere is huge, and the normal elven tribes do not use neither windcraft nor voidcraft. Though the closest tribes soon have their healers, for those druids who has to travel farthest, it will take decades and in some cases centuries for them to make the journey of millions of miles through carnivorous forests and across mountains and seas.

The tribes that do have their healers seal up their tree homes, and prepare a nomadic existence to make the decade-long journey to the Ashlec empire.

And Geb asks the pilgrims to carry the sick and injured to the elves, where they will find healers. While those carried away seem thankful enough, the rest of the worshippers seem disappointed that the god cannot simply solve their problems with a miracle. Especially since the remaining sycophants' problems haven't been solved at all. A few disappointed worshippers slink off.

The sick and injured pile into voidcraft, and head in the direction appointed by their deity, seeking out the elven healers. They arrive at the elves, but find the elves busy with their preparations, and unwilling to waste their divine gift outside of the holy war against the Ashlecs. Some of the belters on the other hand are desperate, and a scuffle breaks out. Belters are killed, and some elves wounded, and the belters kidnap an unconscious elven healer before taking off. Only the voidcraft thaumaturges protect the craft from being ripped out of the sky by elven druids.

And Org creates an avatar in his image. The rock gem golem digs into the ground, and heads for the dwarven enclave, where war preparations are still in full swing.

The dwarves are a pretty decent people at this time and age. Interaction with gnomes and outside traders, has slowly eroded of their xenophobia, and they possess a degree of honor, and a strong belief in justice. Beanchubbs gift of death magic to the Order of the Axe changes the order to embrace other beliefs. Like elemental magic, death magic requires blood, either that of the caster or someone else. Remembering tales from the battles against the Ashlec, the Order of the Axe begins in secret to experiment with blood sacrifice themselves, kidnapping the weak and unwanted of society, beggars and the mentally ill. The results of their experiments are very satisfactory.
