There isn't one in the missile design page.

I had ran into the 'wrecks' database not found error on 6.41 I think it was, then went to the forums and found out it had already been fixed for 6.42

Just start adding numerials or letters to revised missile designs like I do.

They're nearly as bad as badgers. Build a couple of anti-buzzard SAM sites marksdwarf towers and your fortress will look like Baghdad in 2003 from all the aerial bolt spam. You waste a lot of ammo and everything is covered in unslightly exploded buzzard bits and broken bolts.

1. Class Design window.
2. Ordinance/Fighters tab (make sure you have a design with magazine space sufficient to carry at least one of the missile type you want to obsolete selected).
3. Select the missile design you want to obsolete.
4. Click the "Msl Obsolete" button on the middle-right edge of the window.

If you want to view/restore old designs, click the "Show Obsolete" checkbox right next to it; you can use the same button to toggle the status of obsolete missiles back to non-obsolete after that.

2. Lock taskbar to the right side of your desktop.
3. Run Resize Enable

Ah, does this work with the missile design window too?
No, but you can delete the series that's full of obsolete designs and make a new one by the same name with the appropriate continuation of whatever designation system you use. Assuming you put your missiles in series, but if you didn't I don't see how it would be a problem in that window.

I believe you can also pull up the Tech Browser, choose Missiles, and obsolete them from there.

does this game have the same problem like in dwarf fortress where longplay is impossible? ie, does this game tend to get impossibly slow in end game?

such as? from dwarf fortress its the population/item clusters, while in aurora i heard it was because you or other races explore

both games compared, which tend to die faster? in dwarf fortress i know you can at least prevent it to an extent with mods and burning items

It also depends on your definition of "long". I know that both I and others on here have had campaigns run for substantially more than a century. That, and the actual game-killers can largely be removed; they're not universal doom like FPS loss. The only things that have actually ended my campaigns are Invader turnlock, new versions, and boredom. If you run a game with a single big NPR and Precursors + Swarm, you can keep it going pretty much as long as you like, barring some sort of unresolvable error.

I've had games run longer than a century and I've never left the solar system or experienced combat.
That's really not so long a time.
