That failure rate is absolutely horrifying.
Didn't notice that >.>
It also was the cause of the errors so now I can continue designing this monsters. After adding a few million engineering spaces that is.

I like that 34,000% of the ship will fail each year.

That means we need 34,000 earthships right? So only one breaks each year. AM I DOING IT RITE?

Yeah, don't use it if you are playing with maintenance. It'll be horrifying.

Make smaller missiles, or make submunissions. Size 100 missiles are pretty much the definition of over kill, and you have about enough ammo for a single salvo for them all. If you are going to go this way, though, you can make the mounts smaller, sacrificing reload for more mounts. You can also remove the fuel harvesters. With the maintenance issues this ship will have, it simply does not have the luxury of going sitting above a gas giant to harvest and refine Sorium.

Shit, we need a magazine the size of California to fire the launchers which are the size of Texas...

ehh no, it means that there is a 34,000% chance that ONE thing will break on the entire ship.

Designs are almost done. I just need to click cryogenic transport a couple of times >.>

Yes, I know. I was joking.

Also in that case we'd need 340 ships rite? :P

I have good news and bad news.
The bad news is that after 95 million colonists the game gives me errors again, and this time the maint life wasn't very low
The good news is that it only takes three months to build :)

Wow, you stabbed that failure rate over and over with a knife the size of a door, nice job. It's certainly better, but I can't get my head around HOW you can build THAT in 3 months.

Because the game assumes you have a shipyard of the correct size ^^

why would it be an issue? that thing can hold huge quantities of automines.

yeah, where it realistically possible with all consequences, you just load it with your entire planet, and if you ever find another planet, you just drop everything on it.
and if the planet had already inhabitants...you crush them down when you discharge automines like ejectable pods.
man...think about the disaster...
"my grandma died in the colonization of the 2903! she was smashed to pulp by a friggin finance centers!"
"my grandpa used to say you had to worry about the small chemical bathrooms falling into place, and not the big automines. he was squashed down by a research lab however"
