You can use the Ban Body thing from the F9 screen. I haven't used it yet, but I believe somewhere someone said it helps with that.

As for fuel... not sure.

Doesn't work on colonies of any type, which is a problem since I've got 9 inhabitable bodies out there, one at 0 cost and two more at 2.00 or less, and I'll be damned if I don't take advantage of them.

As long as civilians have profitable routes close to home they won't even think of venturing out into other systems. Once they saturate those routes and are filling demand, they will start to consider other destinations.

Open Economics, select "Civilians/Ind Status", change "Destination of Colonists" to "Source of Colonists".

Should make the civilians take colonists from your planet instead of removing them.  Hopefully, the long distance from the civilian fleet will throw off civilian shipping to the point they stop going there.

The only problem is that it automatically resets to a Destination if the planet's population is below 25M. Otherwise, yeah, that works.

Incidentally, next version will have 'stable' option which is neither a destination nor a source.

Thank you, I hate the constant spam I get of unrest increasing on Mars because the dumbass shipping lines keep taking colonists there and packing it to the brim before they take infrastructure. Half the reason I am terraforming Mars is to stop this.

Now that I've a new monitor, I've started playing this -- sadly the moon is really hard to colonize. :(

Yah, it sounds like minecraft with content, you have obviously missed the point, people dont like content, they like different coloured blocks.
Seems to work fine with my copy. As soon as I loaded the human caravan came by and the world burst into fire.

That's because it has too low gravity for regular humans to ever habit, and is usually not worth it to genetically modify humans over.

Don't go for the moon, it's worth is low. Go for Mars. The only use for the moon I can think of if not for minerals if the moon was generated with any, is for beam bases. Nothing else is worth it when you've got the Earth like... a small distance away?

Do precursors use beam/kinetic weapons? I hope so, because otherwise I might be attacked by le swarm.
Also, can wrecks be randomly generated or does it need combat to have happened somewhere? I know jump gates can be somewhere at system gen but in a system one jp away where my survey ships got destroyed are also other wrecks. And because I have disabled those buggy normal npr's that would mean the swarm is fighting the precursors.

ps: does anybody know what's wring with their forum?

Precursers do use beam/kinetic weapons, but generally as backup guns with missiles as their primary weapons. Swarm only uses mesons (check the class summaries for that race) and there'll be HEAPS on them.

Well, there were a few enemy ships, so that probably means it were precursors. But they didn't use any missiles as far as I know. I just hope they stay in that system so I only need to defend 6  JP's instead of 7.
There is no need to order a fleet at the order side of the system for jp defense right? Precursors don't use JP generally, and versus a fleet with just mesons I probably just get myself killed if I station a fleet close to the enemy.

EDIT: intelligence says one of their ships has lasers. So now swarm ships.

Well, your choice if you want to waste your already spare minerals on a worthless endeavor. I'm not stopping you.

Good luck, it's usually so slow I get bored before I get the system I want and I just quit.
