For some reason whenever I try to advance time the game only advances by like 5 seconds or one day if I'm lucky. :(

Ignore this, I found out why it was doing this and it is related to my stupidity!

This may be completely guessing, but maybe moving Aurora outside of Program Files will help you?

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

For windows 7

Move it out of the programs file directory into C: or whatever

Also remeber to change the decimal.

Nah, only "semi-screwed".  The game cuts the bottom off a couple screens, but you can certainly play it.  Just be careful with taskforces, you can't make any new ones or rename the ones you have.  But you can still split ships off taskforces, which tends to suit my needs just fine.

If you make the task bar auto-hide it should free up a bit of real estate.

Will fighters with box launchers need their own MFC?

E: Also, how many troop transport modules do I need to transport an engineer brigade?

They'll reload in their carriers.

5 - note that I think they all have to be in the same transport (no spreading the engineers out over 5 ships), so I make all my transports with 5 modules.

MFC = Missile Fire Control.

Yes, they'll need one.  They do not, however, need their own active sensors.  Any ship can ping targets for them, but they do need fire controls for their weapons.

Also, you can determine transport requirements yourself.  One full-size troop bay can hold a single battalion.  One company-size troop bay likewise holds a single company.  Open the Population/Economics (F2) window and check the Ground Unit Training tab.  Note the Size column.  Battalions are size 5.  Companies are size 1 (five will fit in a full-size troop bay).  Engineer brigades are size 25, so they need 5 troop bays.
