That would be where marvin test fired the Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator.

Aurora is multiplayer in the same way that DF is multiplayer.

And while I can respect a good boarding party, that's gonna be TOUGH to use as your main weapon.  I encountered about 30 ships in one enemy battle, which my missiles wiped the floor with rather easily, but you'd need some massive speed and just as many dropships.  I think you're going to find yourself rapidly overwhelmed though, and will be needed conventional firepower just to mop up.

Yeah, you'll be in for quite the battle.

Also, LOL when you fight the Swarm!

Looks good, although the maintenance time is a little excessive for a ship that spends most of it's time in a hangar.  You could use a smaller Engineering Space and replace it with more fuel or speed.

link/explain please? DO WANT

You can have as many player controlled empires as you want, but there's no internet function so they all have to be controlled simultaneously from one computer. I tried to do a multiplayer LP on this forum (with different sides submitting orders by post), and it was working fine until people stopped submitting orders.

I found a system with over 1500 asteroids once. That took a long time to survey :P

I already use a tiny Engineering Space. How should I increase speed? I can only add one Engine. They are mostly for Colony Defense.

A few tips for fighters:

As already noted, engineering spaces aren't really necessary for a fighter unless you want some sort of long range/sentry fighter that will spend long periods of time floating in deep space. Even with no engineering whatsoever the odds of a fighter failing within its 20 hour fuel supply is miniscule (And even if one fighter fails, so what? :P)
It usually makes sense to design their engines with the +power -efficiency techs. You want them as fast as possible, and if you want long range fighters it's best to give them more fuel tanks. This has the side effect of giving their engines the tendency to explode when damaged, but a fighter with a damaged engine is dead anyways.
You shouldn't give PDCs fuel tanks; it will generate (irrelevant but annoying) error messages. Fighters can fuel from the planet when launched. They can also do this for missiles if you prefer, making the PDC slightly cheaper.

Edit: There's also an engineering space - fighter available.
Also, since a fighter is limited to one engine the smaller it is, the faster it will be.

Ugh, I'm hitting a nasty bug:

every time I reach the third month (march) I keep getting an "error 91" spam

I belive it's due to the decimal separator, but despite changing my keyboard configuration, it keeps giving me that. Any ideas?

reinstall? I've never had a problem like that, so something may have gone slightly wrong with the download. You're probably better off asking on the aurora forums.

My solution for every error message is to either keep clicking until it goes away or to restart the program. Hasn't failed me yet.

Aurora on small monitors:
1. Game Parameters -> Reduced Height Windows.
2. Lock taskbar to the right side of your desktop.
3. Run Resize Enable

Are you using language setting English (UK, US, or other English speaking country) with the changed decimal separator, and number grouping

I changed to english all options I could find, still no bloody luck.

This looks like a very good game, but it's proving to be too much trouble
