Black hole, not Wormhole. Wormhole=SPOILER BAD GUYS and cannot be entered. Black hole=Thing that sucks things in in a sucky way.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

So I geared my entire research base over to research rate, lasers and missiles. When the Invaders "went on leave" (cough) I saw a great opportunity. I'll research some good stuff then see how long my ships can hold Sol.

Is it possible to capture a
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
, and would it still work?

It is, but the failure rate is made of the fibers of Hell so it will likely explode next cycle.

EDIT:

The *SPOILER*Matriarch*SPOILER* is even worse.

Is there any way to spawn one, or do I have to track one down?

You need to hunt one down. You can view all ships in existence if you have the designer password and you can probably give it orders too.

The developer mode isn't working. I type the password in, and nothing happens.

If it doesn't throw up an error then it's activated.

No, I meant wormhole. As in, lure
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
to a system with a wormhole and
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
, let them fight it out, and clean up afterwards. Seems like a decent solution to both problems, as the actual forces would be fairly even if the
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
manage to close to meson range.

Although using black holes to vaccum up
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
is a good idea, seeing as how there is no real benefit to fighting them when you don't have to.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
It'd probably be more up to the Swarm to kill the Invaders instead of vice versa.

From what I understand it usually ends up with the *SPOILERS*Invaders*SPOILERS* losing a couple ships but wiping out the *SPOILERS*Swarm*SPOILERS* because they can take out the *SPOILERS*Soldiers*SPOILERS* from long range (80,000kps plasma torp > 10,000kps meson-armed FAC), and then just pound the *SPOILERS*Hive(s)*SPOILERS* until it/they pop. But if the *SPOILERS*Swarm*SPOILERS* ever manage to get into meson range they rip the *SPOILERS*Invaders*SPOILERS* a new one. So either way, one or both enemies is eliminated or severely reduced.

MORE SPOILERS BELOW

Also, from what I've heard, Hives can be overwhelmed just by hitting them with enough missiles, so it seems that even with a slower RoF the high strength and speed of plasma torps at closer ranges would still be able to break them. Keep in mind too that since p torps are EW they can never run out of ammo, so the Invader ships could potentially squish the Soldiers and then hold the range open while plastering the Hive.

Bleh, my AV program was flagging a bunch of DLL files as trojans, so I ran a system restore, with the unfortunate side effect of deleting my saves. Oh well.

I'm sorry for your loss. I know that feel :(

When unrest is increasing, and soldiers are dropped on the planet and lower it (probably by shooting troublemakers), how do I make it stay down instead of getting constant unrest rising/decreasing messages?
