They're probably not negative, he's using them as bullets.

I can't believe I've been playing this all day. Learning is addicting. :U

Anyways, I've been poking about in a bit in the nearby nebulous system. One gravisurvey point revealed to me THREE jump points. Is this common fare, or by doing so, have I found most of the waypoints here?
Not at all, I've seen up to 9 jump points before. There's probably a higher cap.

3 jump points in a system is hardly uncommon. I often find four or five.

Not so common to see 3 at one survey point. Could be either that the jump points there are clustered close together, or there are a bunch of them.

I've seen systems with 9 jump points, while others don't have any except the one I came in by.

The really funny part is when you find a few inside the asteroid belt in Sol, go through one, and then find a bunch of spoilers that follow you home and do unspeakable things to your planets and ships with lots and lots of size-1 missiles.

Is there a way to completely wipe a civilization out of existence with the designer mode?

Okay, how the hell do you arrange the galactic map so that it isn't a huge overlapping mess of systems? Trying to use the grid size thing has just made it so every system I've been to overlaps even more, with all of them moving to the exact same position.

But then, life was also easier when I was running around here pretending to be a man, so I guess I should just "man up" and get back to work.

I don't use it at all, I just draw up my own maps of the jump chains.

I don't think so, non-player ships seem to not use fuel at all. They don't seem to fail either.

Commercial ships in general do not fail, though commercial ships owned by you still require fuel.

I mean NPR military ships. Commercial engines use what, 1/10th the fuel?
