I'm bored, so if anyone feels like posting a set of ship specs (3-4 max) I'll do pixel art imagining what they look like. Submit a theme too, if you want!

Sure, why not. Here's my new frigate. As for the theme, could you make it look sort of rugged, tough, and un-sleek? Functionality over style, even if it does make it look ugly.

Sizes between different images may vary (hence why your 12kt cruiser is barely larger than Erkki's 6kt Destroyer leader), but are to-scale within each image (IE: M90 DDL and M90 ACR)

I must say, you do pixel art very fast.
Very nice. May I throw in my recent fighter design as well? I forgot I had it, lol.

Nice, thank you! I'd imagine them all look the same externally, with just different number of turrets, too. DD looking like a 3-turret DDL and DE with 4 turrets but no spinal weapon.

Good work on those ship images! I like your style.
I got a few if you want, feel free to not do 'em if it's too many, though.

The Skylark, a piece of precursor tech which had been reassembled, repaired, and refurbished to an operational state. It had crashed on to the home planet before the start of my campaign, and the onboard technology had been the origin to all the trans-newtonian tech available to my race as of this campaign.

The ECIWS 321-Series Sri Tiga, an anti-missile escort ship, designed with large turrets taking a significant portion of it's weight, specifically armed to rain flak on missiles as a final defensive measure against it's escorted task group.

The EDSM 321-Series Ahmad Yani, a longer range anti-missile escort ship, also capable of carrying out indipendant kill-missions against unprotected targets when fitted with more appropriate missiles, as well as minor anti-fighter combat.

the EFS Mount Tetra, a scout designed for independent operation, specifically for investigating systems too dangerous to risk freight assets for the placement of DSTS. It is also equipped to launch an informed strike unprotected hostile assets, and is especially equipped to see such assets with it's sensor arrays.

My girlfriend saw me playing this and said "Another one of those games? Why don't you play anything good, with graphics?"

Leave her. Explain to her that enjoyability is subjective and that while the graphics may not be the best, it's still fun to you.

Huh. My siblings are like that.

I tried getting my sister to play Dwarf Fortress once, but she absolutely refused to upon seeing the ASCII graphics. She plays Roblox everyday instead.

Yes, land them on a carrier that has spare maintenance supplies and a fair number of engineering spaces and the fighter will be repaired using the carriers resources. As of when I last checked however there is no way to repair a fighters armour.

How difficult would it be to make a 'fighter' of 500.1 tons. and yes I know that fighters stop being fighters at 500 tons and thus would lose the ability to be made in fighter factories. or would the ability to better maintain them not be a big enough trade off?
