What's the system information screen?
Press F9 or hit the star icon in the System Map screen.

Edit: It apparently has a multitude of names, System Information is just one of them. Others are System Generation and Display, and System View.

89% Oxygen doesn't sound very healthy. Shouldn't it be lower than 30%?
Yeah, it definitely should be lower than 30%. That's definitely the problem.

Officers will over time pick up bonuses for things they're doing, so if you have open slots assign people to them - staff slots are handy for that.  And if you're really anal you could build a series of small training ships, like otherwise-inefficient 1 mining-bay asteroid miners to train mining, etc.  But yeah mostly just leave the worst ones unassigned...

SM mode, open the System Information window. Select the system body you want to mess with, click the 'Specify Minerals' button. This will bring up a little pop-up that lets you set the mineral quantity and accessibility of every T-N for that body.


Re: the Mars thing. Yeah, far too much oxygen. There's a hard cap of 0.3 atm and 30% of the total atmospheric content for oxygen, at least for unmodified humans.

EDIT, also i think i found a bug, my size 50 engines with double power are considered commercial.
It seems to be working as intended for me, at least in the design window.

Also, I've noticed that you can still research hyperdrive technology but there's no option in the engine design for them.

Known issue.  Steve added new planet icon info, but not new planet icon images.  Any filler image will do just fine, so long as it carries the right name.

Did you extract the AuroraUpdate554.zip file into the Aurora directory after running the installer? You need to do that first, then add the 6.00 patch files and missing image files.

If the whole folder is missing it means he didn't install the game correctly (and admittedly, the correct installation procedure is a bit absurd), so he's probably missing a lot more than just the planetjpeg folder.

Late, but one of my favorite changes recently would be the civilians scrapping old ships. Who was it that had the civilian line with the 125 year old freighter working in it? :P

Do the civilians get anything back when they scrap ships? I'd imagine a decent-sized pile of minerals would be worth something in the private sector (maybe an option like the ones the mining colonies have where you can buy minerals recovered from scrapped ships?).
