There should be a rule against Doctors being lynched Day 1.

The rule is: If you are a Doctor, you die day 1.


Sidenote: Perhaps this revives the old statement: If he looks like scum, he's probably the doctor.

I guess the Doctor tends to regard himself as so important he has to survive at all costs, and thus ends up looking like a mafioso.

Considering how lurky and scummy I was throughout NSBM1, it was a bit of a miracle I wasn't lynched as cop, actually.

Cops don't act scummy.  They have a TOUCH of a passive streak and tend to prefer to lynch someone they feel is sure scum rather than guess.  That's because anyone they feel 'might be MAYBE' scum can get investigated.

As the days go on, cops get more 'sure' of themselves, more willing to work with certain individuals (because they found them town) and more willing to go after certain others (because they found them scum).  If they are almost ready to claim but not quite, they may go self-preserving since they know they are gambling everything they know to learn one more investigation.  They are more worried about the NK in that regard though since a bandwagon will just mean they can spill the beans and be helpful.

Docs, though, become just about useless when they are found out, useful if they can stay alive and hidden, and, thanks to mafias in teh past LOVING to claim doc, they know their claim may not save them from the lynch.  Thus the scummish mentality.

As far as the situation, I'll do it this compromise for now:

ExKirby gets a normal replacement
Archangel gets a Minor Rule Break


Both cases would drop these people a letter grade (ExKirby to +B, Arch to B) which is enough to keep them out of a good few games out there (I notice all of Web's and half of my games are Rank A required).  ExKirby seems willing to give it another shot.  Meanwhile, if Arch really is still the 'hyperlurky' type then the system will catch that in due time.
