See creatures age!

I think this would be great to see when would children turn into peasants, how much that war dog have left before they die of old age, etc... Should be really simple to implement!

Yes! It should be next to the gender symbol in the "v" menu, really.

Also, adds to the intimidation and excitement factor when a Dragon appears and you see that it's 105x years old.

I think you should only be able to see the ages of creatures you/your dwarves actually know the ages of.

But you are an overseeing spirit! You can read the minds and thoughts of all dwarves, magically know the name of all invaders, you should be able to see age of creatures too.

Since dragons and (maybe?) other megabeasts seem to all be named, the approximate ages should also be known.  And I like this idea.

If software was real world, then it'd be something equivalent of hitting a nail with a hammer and having a building collapse on the other side of town.

Don't worry people, sometimes -moments occur

I don't think people would care too much about the exact age of the megabeasts. You don't tell a story like "A terrifying ancient dragon, more than 5274 years old!" , but rather "more than five thousand years old!"

Getting Legend information on invading megabeasts would be cool.

Maybe the dragons are there before the civilizations even existed!

Yeah.   Exact numbers for stuff your guys wouldn't know exactly sort of takes one out of the game.    Just like having numerical stats would.
