This thread is astonishingly odd. And until we're inevitably told to stop, I plan to wring the most out of it.

Uh, not right now though. It's eleven thirty. So yeah. Wringing done, I guess. Let me know how Solid Snake turns out.

This whole thing's gone to the dogs. The only solution I can see is giant cats launched from doom stations in orbit, which should fix all of our problems.

I'm pretty sure the thread getting off-track for one reason or another isn't supposed to serve as an excuse to act like your text is randomly generated and go off in whichever direction seems zaniest and kookiest at the moment. That's kind of what the (relatively) new General Discussion section is meant to avoid.

At least we're (sort of) back on the Whales track. After a brief foray into octopus territory.

This is the most awesome pistols at dawn based idea I've ever heard of.

Would it be more awesome if there were both whale sharks and pistols?

Undersea whale-mounted gunfight, I like it.
I'll go get the naval mines.

But... but water is too dense for bullet to travel through and maintain any lethal force!

Pssha, minor details.
We will fire from point-blank range, or just club each other with the pistols.

Okay, is he really defending us from the krill? Or is he about to murder Solid Snake down there? Because he should know that Snake's had experience killing things his size. The lack of a rocket launcher will hinder him but briefly.
Well snake could be just using the Quick Reload thing by putting the rocket launcher (Or Stinger Missile Launcher) in his inventory.

You could use those Glocks, some of them can be used underwater.

Yes, the guns would fire. But the bullet would run out of momentum really quickly and sink to the bottom of the sea.

I'm sure some weapons would work underwater with lower range. Try shooting each other at 30 feet or less.

Ever seen someone pistol-whip a whale to death?
