I said an AMENDMENT to proposal 5.

So, after I do that I should make that entrance, make a lever, and pull it up while my dwarfs dig in and I start my usual fortly routines.

BTW, I think I should embark and spend the (60 or so points) on something that will make the walling-in go faster.
I'll be sure to remember to make barrels this time. This one game I will be sure to.
We won't die because of anything to do with a lack of barrels.

I'd like to be on the waiting list to be part of this as soon as possible, this strikes me as in insanely fun idea =P Also: Do any of the original 7 (But mostly the mayor/player himself) have any way of communicating with me If I'm unable to watch the post for an opening?

I'd suggest you just post what kindof dwarf you'd like.
Thanshin (or whoever has that list) will then add you to the list of those waiting for an immigrant to arrive. (Myself included).

I'd prefer a hunter/bonecrafter (Yes I'm stealing Jayred Iceveins =P) But I can also just deal with a regular hunter.

Don't forget a name (which is the most important part)
Or do you just want Kyonai to be his/her name?

Also, we can crosstrain a hunter or a bonecrafter to have skills in both if you wish, since chances are low that you'll get a dwarf with skills in both.
Would you like that?

That would be beastly, and If it's male Kyonai is fine, if it's female Esuna I would prefer. Also I'm going to help my grandmother move (Lack of hard laborers in this family I guess =P) So I won't be back till later. Have fun guys and I'm honored to be considered for this game =)

Ok, goodluck.

Kyonai for male and Esuna for female it is.
You should have your dwarf in the first immigration wave; There aren't that many people waiting.

Anyway
I hope to start playing today, so, Let's get the voting for proposal 5, and amendment for proposal 5, finished.

Yes on Prop 5, Amendment 1. Let's get this rolling. I've got bones to carve and graves to dig.

Oh, and figure out a way to harvest your soul in order to sustain me in my unlife. That too.

I counted 4 yes's to 5, and 2? to amendment 1.
That means I can start now? It is a majority vote.

I think I can just dig upwards after the first siege 3 ramps to let the traders in, so, according to the rules, doesn't prop 5 only need a majority vote?

I vote yes to the ammend.

Majority is enough for just about anything which doesn't alter something already decided (which P5 wasn't).

[Proposal 0006]

Build 2 ropes on both sides of the entrance to tie the wardogs.

That will most probably stop anything that comes until the trap avoiding orcs, so I wouldn't bother much with simple traps unless we detect migrating oozes or somesuch.

I vote yes to proposal 0006, and the amendment to 0005.

I figured "amendment" meant it would still be done at the same time as prop 5.  As long as it comes after, that design is fine.

Yes on Proposal 6 as well.

Since the important voting is done, I'll start playing today.

Anyway, is there a daily report to be made every day?
Do I play only one season per day?
Or for this first year I play more and then it goes to a season per day?
