South: Entrance to the Fortress. Two bridges leading into the fortress will soon become one. The ramp up goes over the pit of doom with 4 7x10 retracting bridges built over it. Past that is another set of traps just in case. From there is leads into the main fortress and the underground outpost. Workshops are built above, as well as a few built underground in case I need to recall all dwarves to the interior, but with tightened security, this is very rare. Crops are grown in the west end of grass patch. There is also a windmill powered Millstone in this area.
Center East: The main fortress. Currently the stockpile for all my blocks and bars, once I erect walls, it will be the location of stockpiles and workshops. The dining hall will also be here. Built into the floors and walls will be my own images. I've already picked the images I'll be making into it. This is where the dining hall will also be found, located probably on the second or third floor, next to the food stockpile.
Center South East: The trade depot.
Far East: An experiment of mine. I'll be creating a mist-generating tower and learning how the screw pumps work when moving water up multiple Z-levels.
Center West: The residential district. Only the Southern Tower has been successfully built. one floor on one tower can house 60 dwarves. Once the North Tower has been built, the district will be able to house 240 dwarves, more than I'll ever have.
Far West: The Noble Tower. It will be made entirely out of Pearlash. One Noble will be assigned to each floor, save for the first, which will be decorated with masterpiece whathaveyou.
Unfinished areas: Just to add character to the fortress, I'll add in random towers at my own discretion.
Planned areas: The castle will be built somewhere supported by VERY high walls, and will probably be the tallest place in the fortress. This will house the King once he arrives. The barracks will be built between the main fortress and the residential district and will be 'floating' around the crossroads. This will enable them to be easily able to respond to a siege without having to run to the other side and grab more equipment during the time they're supposed to be killing.
