I'm not self concious  >:(

I always feel strong cravings or urges, as follows: Programming, playing games, composing music, drawing things, 3D moddeling. (the only two being good at is programming and playing games  :-\ )

I can handle stress :)

I rarely deal with others at that.  :P

I would rather have lemonade on a hot day than to drink the dwarvenly stuff.

Working outdoors is good as long as it's not hot or cold, raining or snowing.

I am ok with petrified wood.

I really do like copper.

IDK what Violet spessartine is.

Again, lemonade instead of rum.

Pig tail seeds are for clothes. How can I stand wasting them for my stomach?

I absolutely detest anything and everything that deals with biological life forms.

;D

(lol, there were some typos)

I'm not saying I'm dissatisfied, I'm satisfied actually.

I'm just trying to evaluate my dwarf. :)

I can't wait for more updates.
If you do post more, I hope it is before I have to turn in. It's getting late here, and school is in my life tomorrow.

Well, I'll just read them in the morning then.
Don't rush the updates on my account. I like them as they are.

Don't we all?

Well, I can't wait to see the new update when it arrives.

You think maybe I can occasionally write (in spoilers) a little bit of what I think my dwarf is thinking? For example there's a seige, then I type that he thinks it would be best if we slammed bridges down on their head.

17th Moonstone, 35, Early Winter

The new Depot is done now, it sticks out against the rest of the chalk made buildings and Chalk walls we are putting up to try to insulate our little "fortress" so that warmth stays in. We are digging farther down into the earth to make more room for the new arrivals and to also build some area for crafting, and metalsmithing since I don't think we can rely on the Mountain Homes on anything anymore.

'Capitan Coder'... I think I may call him Coder from now on, I've said it before there is only room for one leader on this expedition, has set up a mechanics shop in the new crafter's area. He's now busily working on and churning out mechanisms, most of them made from bauxite. Bauxite mechanisms will be of good use in the future since we do have magma to move around.

As for the MetalSmithing area I think I will split that into five areas. One for now but if pick up more... misinformed peasants in this area we may have enough to start up a serious metalsmithing trade in this area. Not that we have anyone to trade with, but the weapons and armor will be of great use against the Fanged beasts that seem to be constantly howling nowadays.

*Yes yes, I'm falling behind but I'm not dropping this so don't worry ^_^*

lol.
That's not all.

Good job.

Do you plan on making any mega-projects in this fortress?

Don't have any real plans yet. Perhaps a "Destroy the World" mechanism if someone wants it. Other than that I have plans for a "flood the depot" as I have hinted before.

Also have an idea for a fortress design and have started it but it can be changed still if someone wants to suggest something.

had an interesting idea while working on the fort and winter was winding down. Would anyone be interested in turning into a succession fort at the same time that it was a community fortress?

Reason I ask this is because not much of interesting is happening and I don't think much will happen other than general fort business until the elves show up. For some reason there aren't any undead in the area and the wolves and werewolves that are showing up are easily dispatched without much difficulty.

---------

26th Opal, Mid-Winter, Year 35

MORE WOLVES! They cornered Akigagak while he was out hunting, the only thing that saved him was that they came at him one at a time. He held them off for a time but in the end his yells for help could be heard even in some of the deeper parts of our little fortress here. Xanthius who was also on patrol was the first to come to Akigagak's aid knocking one wolf off of him, I soon arrived knocking another over a small hill. In the end all four of the Wolves were dead and everyone was alive.

Akigagak suffered some minor injuries and is currently resting them off so he'll be fine and ready to return to his hunting soon enough.

I'd prefer just to read your updates. I see most succession games don't have the best storytelling since everyone has their own writing styles. (I didn't have a better word to use than storytelling.)

But, if you do do succession, I would sign up to do first turn.

Yeah figured as much, just seeing how others responded to the idea.

Sorry to double post, but I will likely abandon this fortress in lue for something a bit more... daring. I'm going to look around to see what I can find.

I will make a new topic for it as soon as I find an embark spot, thought I would let yall know just in-case you wanted to still be involved.
