(Heh. I just realized this one thread already caused 2 other games.)

Edit to previous edit: more time than I would have thought. It's alive!

Behold, for it is the new scrap system! To gice it a start, everyone will get 80% of his scrap as scrappy and 20% as nice.

Blueprints and construction plans are shared (right?), so the complete list is added in a seperate spoiler.

Furthermore, I increased plot digging speed.

Also...

It took me 5 minutes to figure out you didn't want them planted a days' travel apart.

x2yzh9 - I feel almost sorry for that roll.
Nirur Torir - watch your scrap ;)
Inteuniso - I think you're hacking my dice. You lucky bastard :p

I are Hacker. w00t.

Anyways, it's amazing how good I'm doing.

x2, I'm sorry to say, but if you don't have a vehicle next turn that can carry people and supplies, we're going to have to leave you behind. We need to leave soon.

Have 10 crafters build a 2x3 smelter/furnace in the southern room, and another 2x3 workshop above it if they have enough time.

Have the last 5 crafters make basic armor.

Have 17 scientists work on designing heavy-duty suspension, axles made out of iron, a coil rifle swivel turret, and a transport buggy chassis that can fit 5 people. It shall use the improved electric engine.

Have the 3 scientists try to teach the medic the advanced stuff again. Use literal examples on whatever is left of the wolf's organs.

Have the two sharpshooters both be promoted to corporals and have them train leading squads in War Games. 1 of the privates will rotate in after every round. Use sticks and stones. Wear heavy clothing.

Have 50 miners dig plots to increase my farm size. Make it as big as possible.

Have 11 traders go to the farm on the trike, with the pistols and coil rifles, and retrieve MAGNIFICENT LASOR OF DEATH whatever they can. Be safe!

Populus of Palus

Have 10 scientists in the base work on a trike design, and if i already have one then build a trike using 7 craftsmen

Have 9 scientists work on the rifle blueprint, and if i already have one have 6 craftsmen make one and ammo for it.

By the way, inteuniso, i thought we were going on foot? You guys never said anything about needing vehicles.

x2yzh9, I seriously suggest you get yourself a vehicle. We will cover much more ground if we are just using vehicles. I would suggest a buggy, truck, or trike. Design it this turn and build it the next, and we'll set out then.

I did.

Besides, it's just a smarter idea. We can haul more, we can carry more manpower, and we can cover more ground. I'll need it with only my guys being skilled in military tactics.

Also, I seriously suggest you get some weaponry. Right now, you have hammers. And picks. That's about it. You have a stationary turret as well.

Torir Hegemony

23 miners and 4 farmers will plow the fields.

1 farmer will tend the plants.

Remaining miners build a garage. With 9 crafters if they are needed.

1 crafter examines the drill.

19(10) crafters work on the car. It doesn't need to be armed, but I'll be using it to hold cargo.

10 scientists will design a specialized ore smelter

10 scientists will try to figure out tactics that the scouting party will use.

Traders stand watch again.

---

Why is my car still labeled a wreck? It's got an engine and moves.
Low scrap? That's what the metal's for.
Question: Are metal bars all turned into scrappy scrap?

The car is fixed. The metal bars can either be thrown directly on the scrappy scrap pile (2 for low value, like copper, 3 for medium, like iron, 4 for high, like aluminium) or they can be made into custom components. This will require smithing (roll) but it will double the worth in scrap. Of course, customizing requires you to know what you want to make with it.

You can't make nice scrap with the tools you have now.

x2yzh9 - Try doing a bit more every turn. you always have half of your people doing nothing, and lots of metal and seeds that can be turned into parts and food.
Nirur Torir - Not much to say, really :)
Inteuniso - Not so lucky anymore. You didn't score a crit fail, but I figured that 3 rolls out of 5 that score <10 give you some nice bonus ;)

The coilgun turret still has the same practical issues as before, and has been scrapped.

What? I have plastics!

Mine. It's easier for both of you to get there.

How many people is everybody bringing? I'll send food for 10 days, but I don't have any excess water. I'll bring two in my buggy, and another two in the car.

You're right. Yet, your rolls weren't high enough to get a weapon system. The continous, static magnetic coilfield would disturb the delicate insides of the electric engine, and acoording to your scientists, you're better safe than sorry...
