You try to open the door (9) slamming it with your shotgun. The butt of your gun hits the metal bar directly below the sign that says "Push to open" and the door flies open. Inside you see what looks like some sort of medical lab, with several humans lying on various cots, apparently unconscious. One of the humans appears to be awake however, one with a mechanical right arm and left leg as well as some sort of chestpiece. He stares right at you, and you feel as if he is looking into your soul.
Before Frederick wastes bullets, attempt to kick the door open in case he doesn't need to fire. I'm aiming to kick where the deadbolt is. Knowing our luck this is just a supply closet.
You try to kick the door open. (9) It doesn't budge.
Shoot the lock with my rifle.
You aim at the lock with your rifle and fire. (5) The shot bounces off the door.
Well it would stand to reason that they would have a way to open the doors. Look for a switch or something.
Examine the doors and surrounding walls for keypads/switches/sensors of some kind etc. Don't forget the ceiling.
You look around. (15) You notice a metal bar that is attacked to the door. Above the bar is a sign that says "Push to open".
Fire at one of the scientists, then retreat
You aim at one of the scientists, (7+4) but can't get a good shot at him. You fire at his arm, but the bullet embeds itself in part of a destroyed turret.
Fire a little bit left of where I shot, and try to actually get a hole I can travel though
You reposition the gun and fire again. (8+3) The shot hits the wall and blows a hole in it.
+2 to Siege EngineeringRetrieve Aesith, knock him out and patch him up.
Paranoia time, sorry. Until we know what exactly the bullet did that disintegrated, you're staying somewhere safe (for both us and you).
You approach Aesith (12) and bash him on the head with your gun, knocking him out cold. You then tend to his wounds.
