Dwarmin, you do realise that you get free training for your primary skill and secondary skill?

Good, though you do start with one skilled and one standard skill by default, so you don't need to spend those 200 credits on them. You only need to spend credits on training if you want your skills higher than that.

And since you are going shotgunning, I'll change my stuff so we can have a more balanced group in general.

Name: James 'JK' garden
Sex: Male
Primary Speciality: Rifleman
Secondary Speciality: Shocktrooper

Juggernaut armor (100)
Combat Helmet (30)
G.N revolver
40 x .32 rounds
Combat knife
Veld-2 Autogun (60)
120 x 8mm Ammunition (50)
Unskilled medic (50)
1 x Medical Kit (10)

Sorry wolf, looks like I need those points.

You really can both sig it.

Sell SMG and the rounds for it that are still left... plus the hunting rifle.

Get:

1x Veld-2 Autogun
15x 24x 8mm Autogun Ammo
1x Military Sabre
1x Tactical Helmet
3x Tinfoil Hat
1x Sanguine "Juggernaut" Armor

2 Levels in Shocktrooper
1 Level in Pistolier
2 Levels in Melee-er

I did not count the money spent, it probably is too much. Any excess money will be donated to the others, probably.

Is there a skill for backpack carrying capacity? :(

Selling the SMG and Ammo gets you 50 credits. Hunting Rifle is free, so you can't get anything by selling it.

Autogun & Ammo is 210(60 for the gun, 150 for the ammo).
Sabre(20)+Tactical Headgear(120)+3 Tinfoil Hats(30)+ Juggernaught(100) puts you at 430 after selling your SMG stuff.

If by levels you mean individual skill points, that costs 25 Credits. However, I think it's more likely you mean ranks, would be 150 Credits for Shocktrooper, 75 for Pistols, and 65 for Melee.

That brings your total to 720; wayyyyy over your total even before I reduced it to 300. So... yeah.

I would recommend Autogun(60), Headgear(120), 14 Points in Rifles(Bringing you to Expert)(70) 5 Boxes of Ammo(50) Your Saber(20) and 3 Tinfoil Hats(30) for an even 300. You get roughly 1/3 the ammo, lose the Juggernaught Armor(but you already have a Tactical Vest, which is almost as good) and get 1 extra rank in Rifles instead of those other 5 ranks.

I also could gut your Shocktrooper skill(which I intended for flamethrowers, though I never actually added flamethrowers until just now, which is why I'm letting you exchange it) to add 30 skill points wherever you want.

Training:

5 Unskilled Shotgunner (?) 25 CR
5 Unskilled Close Combat 25 CR
10 Tactics 50 CR

Total= 295

Extra goes into general fund
Erm... that puts you at 0/10 Shotgunner, 5/10 Close Combat, and 10/20 Skilled Tactics. Is that what you wanted?

Hmm, okay. I'll take all my above allocated points out of tactics and put 5 each, 25 creds worth each, into Close Combat and shotgunning.

And why do you need the tinfoil hats? You already got a superior headpiece. Give the 30 points from those to wolf, he can buy more ammo with it.

Maybe he wants to distribute them to his allies so they are protected from government and/or alien mind rays?

Flamethrower would have been cool somewhere at the beginning. If I carried one now, I'd break my back.

I'll keep the rifle and sell all the shocktrooper skill levels. I'll not get the armor and only that one level in rifles and yeah, like you suggested. Sounds okay.

All extra points gotten from selling the shocktrooper levels go away for moar autogun ammo.

Dude, you got tons of it already! Give some of those points to wolf, since he can use the same ammo in his minigun. Or give a few to me. I wouldn't mind one of those high point helmets...

Wolf needs some skill points in autogun too.
Personally, I think an autogun is a bit ambitious. To properly utilize its advantages, an autogun user needs to be massively subsidized by everyone else, which I think just isn't fair...

He's using a minigun remember, thats heavy weaponry. He's primary spec is heavy weapons, so he will be skilled in it's usage.

Autogun users (riflemen/women) use the rifle skill I presume since the autogun is located in the rifles section. It's cheaper than the minigun and I think that its more economic than the other automatic rifle.
