Promote self to commanding officer and scout out the camp location.
You promote yourself to Lieutenant and scout out the camp location. (9) It looks rather well sheltered, and is near the river. Pretty good place to camp.

Follow Errol's plan
Errol's plan it is.
Follow Errols plan.

 :-\
I'll take point.
Follows the plan. Cause splitting ups lame

Everyone settles into the camp.

So... is that it, then? Is the game over? Is everyone just going to live in the forest until who knows when? Or are you guys going to do something?

Frankly, we don't know what to do. The original goal was to apparently clean out the artillery camp. We traveled down to this castle (I think) and everything got confusing. The castle got invaded, some of us got captured, yadda yadda...

We don't have a sense of direction anymore.
But we are Mercenaries dammit, if one job fails, we get another. Ad infinitum.
I vote we go back to where we got the mission in the first place. Or head toward the nearest town and start asking around.

Hmm... I guess. The way I see it, you can either return to the mercenary headquarters or reconsider the Garange officer's offer to join him. You probably won't get paid for failing this mission, but I'm sure you can find another...

I say we wait a bit and sort our stuff out. Keep an eye on the opposition, wait until interesting things happen.

Collect every interesting item in the victinity and create a list of our ressources.

I heavily doubt we are in good standings with our employer, considering that person who serves as a merc coordinator seems to view a really big spiked club as a reasonable replacement for diplomacy. I'd rather not end up with a hole in my head.

I will begin servicing everyone's weapons. I also suggest we get in contact with both sides and see what kind of offer we can get for work given our failure with Lirosa and recent fighting with Garange.

As stated before, I suggest someone in our team contacts Garange and Lirosa (separately) and asks if they would give us a job (without telling them where we are). Another option is to go to a city and see if there is any recruitment going on there.

I think having some people contacting would be a good idea. Remember, the only way to surely profit from war is to service both sides!

I vote we go back to where we got the mission in the first place. Or head toward the nearest town and start asking around.
Having enough of wandering about aimlessly, you decide to do something. (16) You vote to head to the closest town. Nobody else pays any attention to you. You say screw em, and head off towards Elandir on your own.

Collect every interesting item in the victinity and create a list of our ressources.
You scout the camp and search for possible resources. (14) You thoroughly scout the remaining area, but don't find much of interest, being in a forest. You do note where to collect supplies of food, lumber, stone and water, though.

+4 to Scouting

Go out scouting in the forest.
You head out into the forest. (14) You sneak up upon a group of 20 Garange soldiers, apparently en-route to reinforce the captured fort.

+2 to Stealth
+2 to Observation

I will begin servicing everyone's weapons. I also suggest we get in contact with both sides and see what kind of offer we can get for work given our failure with Lirosa and recent fighting with Garange.
You collect the guns if everyone who isn't using them and work on maintenance. (11) You clean and oil most of them.

+1 to Mechanic

Practice sneaking through the forest.

You head off towards the trees and try to practice sneaking. (5) You walk into a black bear.

I think having some people contacting would be a good idea. Inquire about possible mercenary contracts. Because that's totally what I said.
You get on your radio and try to contact both the CO at the captured fort and Linda Cabelle to see what they have to offer.

CO:
"So... You've reconsidered my offer, have you? Well, even though we took the fort, you certainly did a number on our soldiers and we have plenty of work for you. My offer is this: We'll supply your standard weapons and ammunition, no charge. Upon completion of a successful mission, we will resupply you anything you need, as well as give you either a $1,000 bonus in cash or 100 Credit towards the national armory, which can supply you with more advanced weapons and armor."

Linda:
"What, so you're too much of a coward to show your face back here? Well, at least you haven't deserted. Well... I suppose I have another task for you. No, I don't want you to retake the fort... the bulk of the Lirosan Army should be arriving at the front soon. Rather, I want you to infiltrate Fort Bannor and recover the enemy's invasion plans. You certainly won't get any pay for your recent failure, but if you pull this off I'll give 1000 Credits for the Armory to split among yourselves."

I vote we go about this in a diplomatic manner. have everyone say who they want to work for.

I vote Linda. High Tech Armory weapons? Hell yes.

Also, I appear to have 12/10 Observer.

Edit:Accidentally wander back to camp because i don't know the area. Pretend I was going on patrol.

Of course I said that silly.

Hrrm. Now, I'm not sure, 1000 credits to the armor would be good, yes, but I must say, I don't agree with him calling me a coward. However, I'm fine with whatever.

More concerned with Derm wandering off.

Personally, I'd go with Garange at this point. Linda is offering 1000 cred to be split amongst us for 166 Cr. each. That's without a free resupply. Garange on the other hand is offering access to general weapons, free resupplies and 100 Cr  or $1000 Cash Moooneey [/Pauly Shore]. We can always take Linda's technology when we fight them.

So I vote we take Garange's offer. We can also tell them that the main force of national Army of Linda approaching.

Umm, when did Lirosa become Linda?

You do make a good argument that we get free armament, and credits, which makes more sense than having to pay for all our armaments.

However, a 1000 credits may just go rather far. However, we also must think realistically here, and see who has the upper hand in the war, which goes to the garange soldiers really.

Still, I hate to go back on our contract.
