Go for the camp, keep an eye out for Roderick (AND patrols or any other signs of human life) and assess the situation at the camp from behind suitable cover with a loaded rifle at hand.

I will patrol counter-clockwise around the artillery clearing; pistol in one hand, knife in the other. Anyone is welcome to join me.

I stop, and look for a set of human footprints heading towards the camp. Crawl slowly forward as well, so I don't get caught by any sentries.

Wait for a moment of intense firing to run away; then do so.

Sneak into the trees and camoflauge myself. When they pass underneath me, i jump down and kill the one furthest in the behind with the trench knife, then unleash hell with the semiautomatic pistol.

Turn 27: One free, one in trouble

Go for the camp, keep an eye out for Roderick (AND patrols or any other signs of human life) and assess the situation at the camp from behind suitable cover with a loaded rifle at hand.
You move towards the camp as silently as you can to see what is happening. (13) You reach the edge of the clearing and see that most of the sentries are out looking for whoever fired the shots; you must have evaded them somehow.

I will patrol counter-clockwise around the artillery clearing; pistol in one hand, knife in the other. Anyone is welcome to join me.
You patrol around the camp, looking for enemies to ambush. (11) You come across some footprints in the dirt, but don't find anyone alive.

I stop, and look for a set of human footprints heading towards the camp. Crawl slowly forward as well, so I don't get caught by any sentries.
You slowly approach the location of the camp, looking for your allies. (4) You see a group of people and run forward, greeting them. Wait... are those uniforms blue?

Wait for a moment of intense firing to run away; then do so.
Noticing that most of the sentries are searching for the gunfire from earlier, you decide to make a break for it. (14) you sprint out of the supply truck and head north, into the forest.

Sneak into the trees and camoflauge myself. When they pass underneath me, i jump down and kill the one furthest in the behind with the trench knife, then unleash hell with the semiautomatic pistol.
You find a good place to hide, hide yourself in the foliage. (6+1) While you don't really stick out, you're not hidden very well either.

Follow Errol with the mercenary squad and give everyone an inspirational speech!
You follow Gates and bring the mercenaries along. Along the way you give a speech to the troops to inspire them. (4)

"Fear not men, for we will will win this war or die trying! Though the second part is more likely, considering they have us outnumbered and outgunned, and they have taken an important military stronghold.... but we will continue fighting anyway! And we will fight until we take a rocket to the face! Yeah!"

The troops exchange worried glances.

Quote from: Garange Patrol
Who is that guy running towards us?
The sentries see Roderick running through the trees at them. (10) they realize he is an enemy mercenary and think he's leading some sort of charge, and fire at him. He gets shot in the arm and is wounded.

Quote from: Garange Sentries
Find that sniper!
The sentries spread out, looking for Derm. (5) Somehow they fail to spot the poorly-hidden sniper.

Motion group to take camp by force.

We outnumber them. Better to sneak in the attack of opportunity. Oh, and don't shoot the officer! We need him alive.

Pick up a heavy object like a rock, and throw it to the East. That should create a sound making them head toward that direction. Head towards the others with as little sound as possible.

Well,  huh. What do you think I should do guys? I could throw down my gun and get captured, or try and hide. I'm not sure I could do either.
