Hmm, I need your guys' opinion on this.  Should I sacrifice myself for the good of the team and pull some crazy shenanigans to kill the commander, or should I sit tight and wait for a better opportunity?

((Your dead anyway, spit in his face and call him a pansy. Or, alternatively, sell out your friends and allies for money. RNG could make you a recurring protagonist! :P
really, though, you should be patient, and see what he is offering.. Eventually the hand of deus ex machina will touch you.))

((... in places you haven't been touched since you were a child...))

What? Crap. I spent like half an hour writing that thing. Ugh... I should have saved that somewhere.

Alright. You'll probably get it sometime tomorrow, after I rewrite it.

Alright, I re-sent the PM. Unless Frelock has any questions about it, we just need to wait for his reply.

Suddenly, everyone's radio squawks to life.

"Alright, gentlemen, here's the deal.  The Garange nation is making us a counteroffer.  We've got the experience, they've got the grunts and the guns.  While they can't pay us as much as Liosra, they are willing to give us all the ordinance we can fire, unlike those bastards who make us shell out to get equipment.  That's, of course, if we turn right now and help them take the fort.  They'll continue employing us for the rest of the war too.

Oh, and supposedly they started the war cause they got intel that Lirosa has been doing terrible scientific experiments on humans.  I could care less but if you're feeling like some kind of saint...

So boys, do we want to break our contract, or stick to it?"

Hmm...  I don't care who I work for as long as I get paid and not double crossed. Especially the latter, I already had to deal with that once...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

*flips a coin* Heads: Lirosa, Tails: Garange

Heads..., looks like I'm stickig with Lirosa for now...

This new info, it sheds light on a good few things. Namely, if it is true, Stefan would has little trouble switching sides right now. Considering he's one of those "Saint" Types, after all.

"Well, free arms, is it? I don't see how that couldn't help us. Besides, unconfirmed or no, I don't like the thought of horrible human experiments.

OOC: Being a mercenary Patch is fine going for the side offering the most money so I won't be switching sides.

"Like hell I am gona start healing the guys who have been shooting at us all this time and with a pay cut aswell? They are dreaming."

Well, if the opponent has the ordinance, I can still take it from their cold, dead hands. So, for now, no, not really. But I smell a double-cross coming in. Who knows, perhaps our side backstabs us. Could be something like that, I wouldn't cross the possibility out for these crafty bastards. Or, worse, perhaps they take away my rifle and urge me to buy one of their overpriced pieces of work. I'm already paying for ammo so no thanks.

Keep in mind, tho - truth's the first casuality in any war. Unless I see it, I ain't believing it.

Tl;dr: We need more intel. Reliable intel. For now I don't want to make me yet another enemy.

((I assume at this point, you guys need to reach an unanimous decision or start shooting each other. In my estimation, the Garange will probably win the war in the end...whch is why they feel justified in not outbidding Liosra. I would of taken the deal, but my char is currently stuck chewing mints back at HQ waiting for the mission to end. lol))

Well, I don't think it as a pay cut. We wouldn't have to buy anything if we did that. Still, if you guys don't wanna go, I'm sticking with.
