Garange. I fell like I'm in the dark assembly in Disgaia.
Then you must fight those who oppose your decision to the death!

Wow. Anyone else having trouble accessing the forum lately? I keep getting all these errors... Anyway:

Turn 38: A Plan

The votes have been cast, and the majority wish to side with the National Garange Army. The group leaves the forest and arrives at the newly-captured fort, where they meet the commanding officer of this part of the battle.

"Greetings, and welcome. I'm glad that you have decided to join us. I am Major Thompson, the man in charge of the operations here... But formalities must come later. We must work quickly; a battalion of the Elite Regiment and two battalions of the Red Guard are coming to reinforce the troops in this area, and if they arrive before we take the second fort they would would be in a very tight situation. Don't get me wrong, we have reinforcements coming too; but with two forts under our control they won't be able to launch a full-force attack against one.

"So, you have two options. I suspect that you still have some standing with the Lirosan Army, which could get you access to Fort Ember. If you do this, then we can easily disarm their defenses and move in without a large fight, which means less casualties on both sides, and more importantly, more time to organize before the enemy reinforcements arrive. Or, you can simply give up your Lirosan identities, and join the rest of our troops when we try to take it by force. It's up to you; if you don't like the idea of infiltrating the fort under the guise of an ally, then I won't make you.

"Oh, and as far as supplies go; we don't have a lot here, but we can easily provide you with the essentials... though you may want to leave our weaponry behind if you try to infiltrate the fort under cover, as that could raise suspicion. After our reinforcements get here, we will have much more to offer."

Spoiler: Garange Fort Supplies (click to show/hide)

Well guys, infiltrate or use brute force?  I'm personally more inclined towards brute force; it's extremely unlikely that we'll be able to take out enough enemies in one round to compensate for being in the middle of all the action.

Also: Dibs on 6 grenades.

Takes a bulletproof vest and a cartridge of micro-pistol rounds. Just in case.

I don't know If i would be of any use in an Infiltration sense. too close quarters. brute force it is.

RNG, you mean the ones that direct you to a blue or red page, I don't remember which, talking about nginx and fedora and such? I've had those too. I got in once in a while, but it was really annoying.

Did you want a micro-pistol to go with your bullets? Or are you going to throw them at people?

Yeah. I tried to post the updated turn several times before, but it kept spewing errors at me (that was just one of them, there were several).

Oh, and that reminds me. Cheddarius and Dwarmin are in! I'm not up to writing out a detailed story at the moment, so I'll just post the following, since the group seems to be leaning towards attacking the fort outright instead of stealth:

Desmond Orange(Dwarmin) is not Sanjian at all. Instead, he is a professional infiltrator for the Garange National Army. He has the rank of Sargent in the army, and has been assigned to this mission both to help the job go smoothly and also to keep an eye over the new hires.

Cheddarius is... umm... hmm. I seem to have lost your character sheet. Mind posting it again?

wait i thought i had that pistol.
...
what the hell do i have?
Looking through the quote archive...
Byorİ Semiautomatic Pistol (10mm)
...
yes i do want the pistol. they don't carry 10mm anyway.

Note that i do not know whether or not .32 cal is better than 10mm, and if told, i will summarily change my action, then promptly forget what mm and cal means.

Name: Cheddarius
Gender: Male
Primary Specialty: Sharpshooting
Secondary Specialty: Artillery Engineering/Repair
Other: Fast; not so tough, but manages to keep a low profile. Never gives up, as long as it's profitable not to.

So... sniper?

You get 120 credits also, though you're not a Sargent.

Ok, if we're going with brute force, I'll also take a bulletproof vest, a revolver, and 3 .32 ammo containers.

Stefan, if you need help carrying those mortar shells, I'd be happy to help.
