Turn 29: Trading Places

Wow... just wow. I just won the official dumbass award.
I suppose I'll try to strike up a conversation with our captors. If that fails, I'll start whistling to give away our position.
You try conversing with your captors, but they remain silent. (6) After a while of attempting to strike up a conversation, you begin talking to Alexi. They become extremely annoyed and gag you.

Wow. Wowzers. In any case

I cheerily wave and try to talk to Alexi about how great the war's going. In a sarcastic, loud, and definitely not trying to give our position away to anyone who might be listening on our side.
You talk a bit to Roderick, and your conversation is loud enough to give away your position. (11) Then end up gaging him though, bringing an end to that ploy. They leave you ungagged, however.

Move back to the main camp, and begin firing from the cover of the forest.
You move back the the artillery camp and launch a fresh assault on your former prison. (6+7) Your onslaught catches the defenders by surprise and you slay one of them before they even have time to react.

+5 to Rifles

Take everyone left in the camp prisoner and demand that they surrender, order grunts to help me. Point my SMG menacingly at any opposing soldier who doesn't quite get the message.
You move into the camp and demand that the guards surrender surrender. (10) It might be the SMG pointed at their head, the fact that there are only two of them left or maybe that they're already wounded, but they hastily accept and drop their weapons.

+1 to Intimidation

I'll change my action to assist in capturing the camp guards.
You grab some rope that was lying around and bind the two guards. (7) Not a very good job, but it's unlikely they will try to escape in their current condition anyway.

Go back to the others. Keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary.

Grab my confiscated equipment, and begin shelling the enemy-occupied fort.

By the way, what did I do to get a +7 on that attack?

Oh, woops. I guess I wasn't paying attention. Your two dice that roll were a 6 and a 7, but I wrote it like that instead of putting 15 like I should have.

So really it was 15+0.

One quick question, why is it my and Tehstefan's characters are switched in the writeup? Apparently both me and Tehstfan are talking to ourselves.

I will do the Pee Dance and try to convince them to stop and let me do my business.

That's... a good.... question?

Hmm. I guess that's what I get for making a writeup when I'm half-awake.

Turn 30: The Aftermath.

Go back to the others. Keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary.

>.>
You emerge from your hiding spot and head to the camp to meet up with the others. (7) You arrive without incident.

I attempt to talk to my captors, again, hopefully I will continuet o give away my position.
You try to talk to your captors, hoping to give away their position. (7) They reluctantly talk a bit, but then fall silent.

Grab my confiscated equipment, and begin shelling the enemy-occupied fort.

By the way, what did I do to get a +7 on that attack?
You find your equipment stashed by the enemy supply crates. (5) You man one of the guns and try to fire a shell at the fort, but mess up loading it and blow up the gun instead. The explosion hurls you backwards and shrapnel lands in your chest.

One quick question, why is it my and Tehstefan's characters are switched in the writeup? Apparently both me and Tehstfan are talking to ourselves.

I will do the Pee Dance and try to convince them to stop and let me do my business.

You squirm and wiggle, trying to get your captors to let you go to the bathroom. (4) They angrily pull you along, telling you to stop moving.

Interrogate our prisoners for any useful information.
You grab the two wounded soldiers and try to squeeze information out of them. (14) They spill their guts, telling you everything they know. You find out that most of the soldiers here left as soon as the fort was captured, but they stayed behind to guard the supplies until reinforcements came to pick them up. You also find out that they were planning on capturing Fort Ember, then launching a pincer attack on the city of Elandir.

+4 to Interrogation

Thoroughly search camp for loot. Assign grunts to sentry duty.
You search through the packaged supplies. (9) Most of the remaining supplies seems to be quantities of food and water, as well as some artillery rounds. Most of the weapons and ammunition were moved when the soldiers departed to the fort.

I am assuming we are nearing the clearing? If not, where are we so I can act accordingly.

As soon as we can see that the camp is run by our guys, I'll grab one the guards by the neck with my restraints and use him as a human shield. The proceed to back up int the clearing.
